Seems normal for city driving with elevation changes.
Might be worth cleaning the MAF and the throttle body though. Maybe running some seafoam

A cup or two of MMO won't hurt either after the seafoam. And ethanol free gas will help strip the ethanol residue out of your fuel system. 2 or 3 tanks should do it. Then just run one every month like I do. I'm up to 17.8 mpgs on the high way now.

    Gotcha.
Whatever the stock gearing and final drive is for my truck. '06, V8, 2WD, tow package.

Yes, unfortunately I have no choice than to use the ridiculous 15%(at least) ethanol crap fuel we have in commiefornia. I've noticed a significantly worse mileage and even performance out of my other two cars I've had since ~2019. Very frustrating. Hell, its probably more than 15% ethanol now. Who knows.

Maybe have your fuel injectors cleaned and checked? At the very least change your spark plugs if they’re old.

Throttle body and MAF have been cleaned (very recently, throttle body was already pretty spiffy when I got to it.)
    I might do this, yes

You can Google where non ethanol gas is near you. If that doesn't help, swing by your local drag or race track and ask the staff if they know where it's a available at the pump. By law every state is required to sell it for engines, like lawn mowers and farm equipment that are non compliant to an ethanol blend fuel. Here in Texas most QT and Marathons have E Free pumps at 87 or 90 RON ratings. It's currently 3.84 a gallon, down from 4.17 a gallon last month. Anyone know if Bucee's sells E Free?

90% of the pure gas listings around here are either expensive high octane race fuel or gas sold in a can. Nothing you can fill your tank with nowadays.

You can fill your tank with any octane you'd like. Question does your local PD know what race gas smells like? I run 110 in my GLI a lot, and as sweet as it smells no one's ever dipped my tank.

13.2 for mostly city driving is really good... sadly.

I get way worse than that around town.

It would make sense to buy it if you have a 3-5 gallon auxiliary tank you can switch over to at the drag strip.

Word. I wasn't sure what to think, considering around a third of the mileage on that tank of gas were highway. Not really complaining, per se, lol.

Stock size tires? After upsizing my tires and before regearing, I was getting like 10.5 city and 12 on the fwy. You can play with the magic potions as others suggested, but you'll be lucky to see over 17 or so. 20 is pretty much unheard of, unless you drive like grampa. I doubt grampa could even get a high score of 20. I'm happy with anything over 14 nowadays.
As they say, keep your expectations low, and you'll never be disappointed.

    Re-geared w/4.10's and a tonneau, I got 20.5mpg or so at 55-60 on backroads.

Typically 18-19 on the freeway and 15-17 around town.

Used to be 17-18 fwy and 13-15 in town.

It's just a driveway/road marker (delineator) that plow boys use so they know where the road edge is. After winter up here they are fkn strewn all over the place.
I just picked it up and put it on there being a dumbass, but that tip will glow like a blinkin beacon at night.
