New member here. Just bought a 1st Gen SR5 Double Cab. Been looking for about 4 years now for a decent 1st gen that wasn't a clapped out truck especially a '05 or '06 being these were proclaimed the best one's to get ahold of. I am not one for tech gadgets because I don't need them. Just wanted something simple but with comfort. I owned a '94 OBS Silverado for years that was a 5 speed with a 350. Miss the truck and the basic simplicty of it. The 1st gen Tundra isn't too much of a complex truck to work on. I've had to do some maintenance on mine being the po neglected it during his ownership. Being I live in the northest/ mid-atlantic region there was one small patch done on the frivers side frame but was a well done one. Future plans are to get the frame coated with something which I have been thinking of Wool Wax. So far love the truck and the power the IForce provides.
