Before/after. I want to put the old voltmeter in the bed with some USB charging outlets so I upgraded the one in the cab to a nicer OLED display. So fancy voltmeter.

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate the help. I wasn’t able to get to it over the weekend, but I think a call with Alpharex support is definitely in my near future.

I would love to do that same grille upgrade on my 08 tundra. Is that a TRD pro grill forma sequoia? Would you mind sharing the parts you used?

Look for the trd grill thread- and the sequoia lights thread . They are usually in the first page or two of 2.0 gen.

I had the privilege of installing a new battery. In the rain, no less. Fortunately it was still under full replacement warranty from NAPA. I'd post a picture, but it's just a battery, and it's still raining.

Nothing exciting. Replaced power steering pump. Flushed the fluid out a few times. Looking like I’ll need to man up and do the rack and pinion now :(

    New wheels and rubber

I've had 20s for years and told myself I would get 17s the next time I needed new tires. Well I didn't really need new tires, but I wanted new tires, haha. So here I am with new wheels and tires. Compared to the 20" wheels and 37" tires I just replaced, this new setup is saving me 25 lbs, per corner!

I'm not sure how I feel about the look... hoping it grows on me.

For the curious: 17x8.5 Black Rhino Rapids, 37x12.50r17 Milestar Patagonia M/T-02

Just curious, how many pod lights could you fit on that front bumper? Where you currently have the amber lights. I’m looking to replace my bumper with a similar C4 bumper

Replaced my battery today, got that Costco “discount” lol instead of going with a standard replacement I went with their AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat). Supposedly it’s a superior battery but what peaked my interest is the vibration resistance over standard due to my sound system and the higher spec ratings given all the added electronics. Needless to say it better be worth the price tag!
Glad I replaced it though cause the one that came with my truck when I bought it a little over a year ago was from 2018… was separating and leaking at the bottom when I removed it

I have the mid height bull bar C4 Overland bumper. The location the Amber's are in will only fit a single S3 fog light. though on the top of the full height bull bar bumper will accommodate at least 4 LP6 lights.

The hybrid bumper you can fit an s3, s2 and an s1 down low

Indeed. I'm happy with it! And it's built really well.

Yeah, got it media blasted and powder coated locally. Considered painting it with black Steel-It at first, but went pc to match all the other bling.

They’re the AlphaRex LUXX Black (not to be confused with Alpha-Black).

It’s a “you get what you pay for” situation. They’re high quality and they’re not cheap. No leaks or fogging, the lenses have remained crystal clear, and the LEDs function as they should. Oh and the fit is perfect. They have active cooling - a surprise when I first heard it - which sounds like a hum. Supposedly it can be disabled, but I haven’t bothered.

New Vland headlights and some no name LED fogs. Plug and play minus cutting the Arb harness so the fogs drl turns amber when signalling.IMG_20240323_185215.jpg IMG_20240323_192621.jpg

    Probably this https://www.tundras.com/threads/diy-fog-light-mod.371/

Mine came without fogs and I wired them up separately on a switch so I can't confirm this is what you're looking for.

    So....2 things ..

An ARB bull bar comes with fog light cut outs and secondary turn signals/ running lights. They supply a simple harness which you tap into the headlight wire loom. I cut out the hot wires to the turn signal/ running lights and attached to the new LED fogs.

The LED fogs are multi function (DRL/fog/turn) which plug into the OEM fog light socket and have 2 additional leads. A yellow for turn and blue for DRL.
I used the wires that where going to the ARB turn/ running lights or just tap the appropriate headlight wires in lieu of what I did.

    Link to fogshttps://www.ebay.com/itm/363880416803?itmmeta=01HSQCHSC3Y394GA6CJJHJ2EV6&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAAwIctu0V0D+hwlMgmAi3MTdFB9EdvyPDlcpAu6eEzWG+uEfFOL0rW1Qn88kgeeIdnH2pj1mDzNViZTwwuZeQPsd5XJABgMysRyLVLyKHUgEJt+ZpWbZWELUCWmX+sQ1UhKAdkj2%2Fq8Hn0xd4BAwPz+DNFGjIF++4wpuuiqsXzYK%2FbFSHHcIhbu%2FSvZ1iZFDXLmiGowSQzcCfOuTkNG3JulgNWQpLgI10wQaB5NpKZwFi3JklPWpk795%2FH+3BDLtUwcA%3D%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR5CWx-zNYw
[IMG]Note: you'll have to supply your own wires/ taps if you want to utilize the DRL/ turn features of these fogs. They just supply the pig tails

After a decade of left elbow love taps to exit the vehicle, I have a 3-5" split in my plastic door panel trim. It's irritating.
I have my panels off to replace blown speakers and decided to attempt to strengthen the door so it doesn't crack more.
Surprisingly, the factory made this 2 different pieces of plastic sorta fused but with a fancy outter laminate and expected it to all stay together. Seems like a poor design so I assume it was outsourced to the FlexFuel engineering team.
Luckily I had some epoxy, a random scrap piece of metal, and some sand paper so I gots to work...
