I recently purchased a 2004 tundra, the driver seat (manually adjustable) needs to be replaced.

I found a 2000 tundra seat which seems to fit nicely. The only issue is the wiring plugs do not match.

Is this wiring only for the seatbelt sensor or does it contain wiring associated with the airbag?

    thanks.

Inside it are links to the EWDs (electrical wiring diagrams) and that will tell you what the wires are for the donor truck and your truck.

Nobody on here can safely tell you what you need to do because you’ve left out almost all meaningful info about your truck by putting “04 Tundra” in your truck info. We need to know cab type, engine type, drivetrain (2WD or 4WD) to give you advice on many things related to your truck, but that info isn’t included in your info. Like …. Only Double Cabs came with curtain air bags, for example, but only the ones with an oval RSCA button on the dash to the left of the steering column had them, and earlier trucks had single stage airbags while later years like the ‘04 had dual stage; if memory serves. Knowing more about your truck, if it has power seat or manual, or even heated seats which was an option in some DC trucks, these are all super important details to share because they impact what wires would be in your harness!

The wiring diagrams will help you re-pin things, at least. Just … whatever you do, make sure you take off your negative battery cable BEFORE you unplug any yellow connectors for SRS/airbag stuff in your truck, unless you like SRS codes/lights you can’t erase with it a special tool that supports SRS reading/clearing.
