I've looked in the manual and the only adjustment is vertical. I want to be able to tilt my head back more or wear a brimmed hat. Can you tilt the headrest back somehow?

I'm pretty sure it's vertical adjustments only.

I don't know about the upper trims, but on the limited, it's only up and down. I miss the minimal, thin headrests of older vehicles. The average person today has terrible posture, verging on kyphosis. When I sit, I want to sit upright, not hunched forward.

I'm still debating taking the driver headrest to an upholsterer to have foam removed and the material cut and restitched.

I'm too broke after buying this rig to afford mods.
1794 here. Headrests are up/down only.

I don’t have access to my truck right now so I can’t try it, but is it possible to remove the headrest and turn it around backwards? Due to the offset, that might gain a little more room.

I been bugged by this "head-forward" aspect in Toyotas for some years, now.

I remove the headrest and bend the steel posts enough to provide the level of comfort I need.

My wife has her Lexus headrest backwards because she wears her hair in a bun on work days and can barely drive otherwise

Definitely going to try turning the head rest around in the morning.

I considered trying to swap the rear headrest to the front seats too.

It's incredibly uncomfortable as it comes from the factory!
