That would be great if they did. I’m unsure. I was thinking of searching for a different vehicle’s sunvisor that I could get in black that would fit.

Looks good! I only need it for fold button, any link to the LEDs you ended up using? Nice mod, I am often looking for that fold button in the dark...

Very nice. This is honestly probably the “easiest/best result for time investment” version that I’ve seen on this mod.

there was a member on here years ago who scammed a few ppl out of quite a bit of money claiming they had figured out how to use an OEM illuminated mirror switch. I researched and researched but couldnt figure out how they did it. Turns out it was a lie. This is a much better option

Nice! I am glad to hear that! When I was looking for alternatives to adapt a factory illuminated switch, I found many variations on its configuration by model. This is why I did it this way. I made a video long time ago PART 1 that showed how to make the holes in preparation for the LEDs and recently I did the second part including the final steps. Here are the links if you are interested. If you have questions or needs additional information please let me know.

Check the build link in my signature.
Looks like he drilled little holes in the switches and put LEDS behind them. I’ve seen a similar approach posted somewhere

    edit - I see everything’s been answered.

oil change day, some RP 0w-20 and Wix XP filter.
got to install my votex drain valve, so moving forward oil changes shouldn't be so messy :D.
Some might wonder why but I got crap luck when it comes to oil changes, every time without fail as soon as I get the drain plug off a burst of wind decides it's time to make it splash everywhere

Good on your for looking out for their well being. It’s sometimes hard to think from other people’s perspectives. I have dogs. In general I love dogs. I got attacked as a little kid by a dog. A German Shepard no less. If one jumped a fence and ran at me barking it might not end well. We owe it to ourselves, our dogs and our neighbors to be 100% confident in our securement of the hounds.

Did the rear diff - otherwise fairly clean but found a really weird large shaving.

    PXL_20240302_185323326.jpg

    PXL_20240302_185334174.jpg

Did the front diff - the oil was sort of gray, but otherwise pretty clean. So I'll hold off on the xfer case until 60k. Did install the Lexus bolts to replace those weird 3/8" hex key ones... They were a pain to remove. What a weird design choice.

    PXL_20240303_005450511.jpg
Should I be concerned about the rust on the axle? I think it's mostly surface corrosion, but it rusted so quick on this truck; the rest of the underside is more or less pristine.

Finally installed the TRD front sway bar.
    PXL_20240303_022349487.jpg

Tomorrow I'll reinstall the cat plates and then call it done until I do it all again at 60k... Along with xfer case, trans, and coolant.

I put my RCI gas tank skid plate on. Something always makes a project harder. At least for me it does. The bolt near the frame holding the rear strap was hard to get out to the point where the nut weld broke. So, I had to cut the bolt with a dremmel. And put a new nut and bolt in. I had a fire extinguisher ready and put a lot of wet rags around where I was cutting because of spark. It made me nervous. IMG_5840.jpg IMG_5835.jpg

We have a media PC, hooked up to our home theater system, in our living room. As I'm sitting here scrolling through this thread (back from 2022), our flat-screen is the display, the wife, who's siting next to me knitting, suddenly says, "I think you should get cat shields for the Tundra."

She's not yet any idea that Fedex is delivering an order from RCI, today. :bananadance::headbang:
