I'll check in person. Limited options on their website and $$$. I'm trying to find something locally that way I can wrap this up by tomorrow.

What about this. Do you guys think this would work?

I’ve used clear silicone tape like that before. If it’s the same type of stuff, it’s a bit tacky and will get dusty easy. It works great as a wrap around something, but wasn’t that strong as just a flat applied tape. It does stick to itself and seal to itself well.

Nice. I got to sit in but not drive a Humvee outfitted with a rotating radar on the back. That truck had like 10-15 leaf springs on the back to keep it level. :eek2:

If that "poor kid" were actually a good dude with honest questions and helpful insight like "he who shall not be named", sure. But he's not. He's an immature prick.

It would be a little also ghetto but a peel and stick vinyl tile could be trimmed to whatever size you'd need.

No. It'll just give you weight options until it deems that the setup is not balanceable.

Honestly I'm not concerned with looks because the fender will cover it. That's not a bad idea.

Used this and it does clamp and if trapped into place might be a good way to go. If pulled outward it can come off after a while. Note the ID. Is it going on the fender sheet metal or the bumper edge?

Did you say you're looking for something that doesn't absorb water to go on top? Would something like this work? I think closed cell foam doesn't hold water but likely wouldn't be as durable as an edge trim or true air gapped weather seal.

Yes I need something that will rest on top and help with the constant rubbing on the fender. You can see where it rubs here. It's going to get wet so I need something that won't act like a sponge. I think I already have some of that foam weatherstrip on hand.

You could try out some sound deadening pads. I believe that they are water resistant as well. It could help protect against the rubbing.

Do you all think this is ready for primer? I've not been able to knock off any more rust.

Are you sanding by hand? If so you might want to use a grind wheel to knock the rest of the rust off. I think that there is still too much on there for my comfort.
