Not sure there's been an assumption they are the same. And it eally depends in the specific part. Advics ceramic pads and rotors may be the same or if not identical just fine. Denso may have AC compressors and radiators made in many places. Sourced several Denso radiators that actually came from different countries. But not all Denso radiators are made in China. This one for 1st gen Taco is Taiwan.

nilight off Amazon are currently the highest reviewed, cheapest and readily avaible aftermarket versions of our headlights available.

but you should order from Toyota. Don’t want shoddy quality now

That’s it! I saw the same Tundra in my neck of the woods with the same color hard tonneau cover and a big ass wing! It was a turd gen though.

If I had only gotten a pic of the elusive ugly unicorn. :(

Anyone got a lead on some really thin rubber weather stripping or similar that I could put here to avoid future rust. This is where it rubs the fender. I think @Festerw had that suggestion. This would also help the fenders which rusted too. I'm touching those up now.

Doesn't have to be anything fancy. If you've got some extra seal from your cap laying around that should work too.

If you want to be fancy McMaster sells UMHW with adhesive backing.

It just has to be really thin because there isn't room for much. I don't think the double bulb from my camper shell would fit.

I used this on some metal straps that I added to a new water tank on my travel trailer as a buffer to keep the straps from wearing the plastic tank. Might work for what you need.

UMHW might be the ticket then, that one I linked earlier is like a half millimeter thick. Thickest adhesive sheets they've got are about 1.3mm.

I have no idea, the thought never crossed my mind as it was used on galvanized metal strap on plastic and it doesn't rain much here.

The previous assertion that "not the same because printed arrows/writing different" was garbage. Denso clearly has a contract to make their parts diff't hence why, when you buy Denso coils, they grind off the "TOYOTA" part.

If Aisin is manufacturing the belt, you can't tell me they're not capable of the simple change of altering what white text they print on the belt to differentiate the part from what Toyota gets. Hell, Aisin may make other brands of belt also.

Go to West Marine. Look up "flex trim white" and "edge trim white" and see if those may work for you. It's not dissimilar from the door guard shit people used to use on their cars back in the 80s/90s.

FFS, put in an 11-hour today. Mostly physical labor. Every day this week 9-10 hours mostly physical labor. I feel awesome, but it's weird actually being tired and ready to sleep at the end of the day.
