Poor folk here with rubber wheel on my 22 SR, anyone able to find a good leather wrap that you stitch yourself around the wheel for our 3rd gen yet?
I know there’s leather wheels take offs from higher trims on eBay, but hence the poor folk statement.

my 24 is leather already but I did install a microfiber leather wrap on my 16. It came out pretty dam good for a first timer. What I did learn is that is was pretty difficult to get it right because of the steering wheel design. With that said and imagining doing it on the 3rd gen steering wheel, I’d mostly likely just have a pro do this one. Below are some pictures from my 16 after I did the wrap.

Looks good. The 3rd gen wheel does look like it would be more difficult.

I've see that brand wheelskins? They have an option for 22-23 Tundras

It's funny I have leather on my 24 but it's gray so I can only imagine it's going to show dirt and whatnot. My only gripe.

I ordered one from wheelskins. I'll post pics once I get it installed.

Not too bad for a rush job. Definitely pull your string TIGHT if you do this. I have some spots that I underestimated. Will have to redo at a later time.

But overall feels good! Way better than a plastic wheel.

The top looks good, the bottom looks like XL condom on a micro penis. I guess you can’t make the threads any more tighter than that? Almost seems like there’s too much material.

Yea it's not perfect. They say you can stretch the leather to form better but I didn't do any of that. Maybe with better pulling and such it could look a little better?
