Also if your neighbor has kids that use it to climb over and get hurt it could open them up to a lawsuit. It’s happened around here before.

I can climb any fence that can be built. I can also build a rake for 90% of locks out of a paperclip. Just tempting the honest.

Word of advice if you find basketballs going over the neighbor’s fence or stuck on top of the carport from tossing too many air balls.

A used or new fish net purchased from a fishery or online helps as a great backdrop ball stopper.

My father and next door neighbor used to hate each other. The neighbor put up a 6 foot fence with a 3 foot cross lattice on top of it to handle legal restrictions.

That’s the norm here in my part of the world. No one has a fence under 6ft. A lot are 8. Literally, every house has a privacy fence.

Well, I went out to buy another router, the tp-link axe75, a 6E router. 1/2 the modes and selections on it wouldn’t put out a signal and the signal strength transmitting wasn’t any better the the Netgear nighthawk I owned, so I decided to keep it the Netgear router. This is so I didn’t have to worry about a “Horse Shell” virus written by the Chinese state to specifically take over tp-link routers and it was 1/2 the cost of the tp-link one.

Once again, two days later, the Netgear router locked me and my devices out, so I found cycling power corrected it for all but one of my security cameras which I had to unplug and plug back into my Ethernet switch to get it operating so I could access the video.

I think next time, I’ll see if Netgear can send me a new one, when it happens again.

I am running a TP-Link AC1200 Archer C5. guess I should look into that. I think ive tried "update firmware" once, but it didn't do anything.
Man, i just don't want to brick this thing. Guess I'll have to look into it now, prob have to do it from a downloaded file.

I ordered this one (TP-Link AX3000) for my parents about 6mos ago when lightning took out a lot of stuff in their house. They like it, said it's got great coverage but YMMV - and nation states gonna hack, it's what they do. Home/SOHO routers are an easy and potent target:

I wanted to wire their house for all Ubiquiti stuff, but they're just not ready for all that yet.

He moved away a few years back when he could get the most money for his home. This is the same neighbor who was seen throwing one of our kittens from a moving car into a tree because it was pooping on his new flowers.

It just shows you how low and despicable people can get. He even sued my father once for harassing his daughter when it really wasn’t him. Just someone who looked like him driving by.

    That got dismissed pretty easily.
