I have a 2022 Platinum with the stock Qi charging mini coil system that doesn't work worth a darn. I checked out the EFF Qi charger but then also noticed this on Amazon which seems like a way easier option. No reviews though. Anyone else try this?

Smart , don’t have to take apart the truck either

it’s Amazon , so you can always send it back if it doesn’t work

my factory one works, but hell it would be nice to have a second spot, that looks factory at least in the pics anyway

What wattage does this charge at? I don’t see it mentioned?

I got a black MagSafe charger and used double sided adhesive for hanging posters on walls to stick the MagSafe to the center console. iPhone 14pro fits perfectly. Bigger phone would not. Plug the MagSafe in under the armrest. Phone is at a perfect spot while driving in my opinion. The two white tabs are the adhesive strips. I just never got around to trimming them. One would have been more than sufficient.

That Amazon charger actually looks pretty awesome. I never use that stupid cubby anyway, I might try it out as well. I wish EEF would release their dual charger I would just go with that. I don't want to pull everything apart to install the single then have to redo it for the dual later on. Anything is probably better than the oem one that thing barely keeps my phone at status quo with the android auto running.

Looks good and the ease of installation it practical & like mentioned earlier what's the wattage and one pitfall I noticed is the angle of of the phone in the cradle, one hard breaking and it's off to the windshield.

I thought the same thing and I'd probably put a small strip of rubber weatherstripping on the top edge or something. Being short I can't even see into the dash cubby behind the big screen TV.

I received it. It's not a perfect fit as the cable is a little hard to get underneath, but it only comes up about 1/4 of an inch. A little double-sided tape fixed. Looks like it is a part of the truck, iPhone 15 fits fine and it charged at a decent clip, went from half to full in about 45 minutes with Waze running. Not sure the wattage.

This one looks promising ! It's annoying how slow the wireless charger is on these trucks.

Wife drives a 24 Rav4 limited. The console charger works great and keeps the phone fully charged. Just saying-It's a fact.

To bad Amazon is out of stock. I would be interested in that as well. The two companies, EEF and Slee Off-Road Road are the only other companies that have chargers. Yet very unresponsive to customer inquires. EEF is veteran owned and I would support them if they are still in business. SLEE Off-Road road is just way to expensive, especially the shipping.

I have a EEF single kit that I am not going to use. Brand new that I would probably let go if some one is interested. Brand new never even un-wrapped out of the bubble wrap it was shipped in.

This strikes me as a bad idea to be charging your phone in the sun on a dash with a wireless charger. I'll take the over on it overheating the phone.

I agree. I use my iPhone as a wireless hotspot and it will overheat (inside in a air-conditioned room in the shade) if I keep it on the wireless charger. Using a wired charger it has never overheated. If the phone is getting sunlight on the screen I expect it will overheat in no time.

I tow a travel trailer and it is a great place to put my monitor for the backup camera which allows me to see what is behind me going down the road as well as backing up into a camping spot.

Thx for the recommendation, I need to get one of these. Part of the reason I upgraded from Taco to tundra was to tow a toy hauler. It's too bad with all the tech in these trucks you can't just connect any wifi/bt camera to the system and use the truck monitor.

I've been wanting to add a front view camera to my truck. It's an SR5 so it only has the backup camera. It's really a shame that the head unit doesn't have additional video inputs. I really don't want another screen on my dash.

I've found that with this truck it's really hard to judge how far away something is directly in front of the truck. I'd rather be safe than sorry so I typically end up parking about 4' away from the front of a parking space that has a steel bar as a stop. At about 6' away it disappears from view due to the massive hood obstructing the view and from then on I'm just guessing on how close I am.

Check out that Amazon link above by @Mr Rick for the trailer camera. Looks like you can add 4 wireless cameras to it, just mount it to your front plate or in the grill.

I'll admit all of the cams and pvm on my platinum are very necessary with how big this truck is. I still park far away with the oem front cam, the distance is very deceiving and it doesn't show the front bumper in the view to really see the distance.

I have a 22 TRD Pro and my wireless charger doesn’t work either I put my phone on there and it charges for maybe 30 seconds then stops and the orange light blinks dealer said that they don’t think it’s a problem with the charger but something with the software still no fix yet anyone else have this problem.
