Has anyone seen this exposed coolant line that this covers? They say it protects against road debris

Do you know where the coolant line is? We'll be on gravel back roads occasionally so I'll probably order these

Cool, thanks. Looks like this replaces a plastic piece behind the front tires.

Congrats!!!! How far out is the estimated delivery? I got lucky and mine was in inventory when I bought it.

Will also say the 3D floor mats are sweet. I have the front, back, and trunk kit.
As for other accessories, I got the center console organizer, the hidden armrest thing, and a screen protector(but I haven't installed that yet).
Oh, and I switched out the thumb drive for a 1TB external hard drive.

Next up is a Cyber truck.

Also if you haven't watched this video in your car, you need to!

Every time I take someone on their first ride in a Tesla we start with that....then I make them forget how much they love their V8 or whatever. Imagine if I had a Plaid. Maybe one day.

So I am not positive but I think the 23 MYP may have the homelink already installed. I can't check mine because its at the shop getting PPF fixed for the third time in a little over a month. Thats a long story..But I went to the shop on the Tesla site and it wasn't available to select for the 23 MY. I guess I have to wait till next week. Would be cool if it did have it. Mine lives outside, but to be able to hit that button and open the door to unload groceries, or if I put in a gate with an opener it would be cool to not have to get out of the car to open either/both.

I think only the S/X have homelink by default…I think. The 3P does not have it by default

That's how I understood it too when I bought it. But I remember seeing something in one of the settings screens about it. If it doesn't have it, no big deal I will add it later.

I also didn't realize I was beta-testing FSD until the Christmas update. That was a cool surprise. I purchased EAP when I ordered it. Now I have to wait for summons, smart summons, etc to be released in a later update.

    Thanks dude!
No specific date yet, just Jan. Probably depends on the rollout of the new color.

Floor mats and a screen protector will probably be the first things to go on, I'm too ocd
Then ditching the Gemini covers for aftermarket black ones.
Nothing like that EV torque, a Plaid X is the dream!

Which ones are you looking at? I'm getting rid of the Gemini covers as well. May go with new wheels entirely.

So, this is some of what I don't understand and I think is being missed when factoring costs on these things. Traditionally, when buying a vehicle, I'd select a paint color that was appealing to me, but here...

To get a 'wrap' so you have a more 'pleasing or unique' color/look it's going to set you back almost the entire 'savings' of your EV tax credit

(by 'you' and 'your' I'm not referring to anyone in particular, just in the general sense of anyone who might purchase and want this color)

It’s almost like protection for your factory paint too…I like wraps but they prob won’t last longer than 5-7 years with great condition

I understand that, and I understand the whole PPF wrap craze... but w/that being said, I have also never wrapped a vehicle. It shouldn't cost me a paint job to protect the paint. I'm a bit old school that way :notsure:

That's why I struggle w/a lot of the tech stuff... Here's the most intuitively accommodating and supportive vehicle, yet it doesn't have features like home link (unless you subscribe or pay extra), and this isn't just TEsla it's most companies these days... or you can remote start your vehicle, but only if you have the app and pay $8 month for that service. In other words the technology is there, but unless you want to get on the plan you can't use it.

Crap, I'm getting old, huh :frusty:
