Created a GIF from a short video. Several apps out there.

    Youtube video is another option.

    And thanks!

Is the HomeLink programming in the mirror itself? Will a newer mirror (Gen 3) plug/play on an older Tundra (Gen 2)?
I understand they're on HomeLink version 4.?? now. My garage door opener is newer than my Gen 2 Tundra.

You could probably find the Gentex model that isn't prewired for the trucks and hardwire it in, I got this one because my regular mirror is pealing, and this was a fairly cheap upgrade. It is the OEM mirror that came with the 07-09 models that had the backup camera screen in the sunglass's holder spot in the overhead console. I believe that year range is correct before the backup camera was relocated to the rearview.

    (LOL)
For some reason, Trooper2's gif reminds me of a drunk hillbilly named Jim whizzing in the woods while a squirrel watches...
"It was a dark night. Actually, it was a dark and stormy night. A big Tundra pulled into my stepfather's lumber yard. And, in the Tundra was a killer! ..."

You posted the GIF and don't realize he's a Jim? Watch the movie... a raucous ruckus from beginning to end: Out On A Limb.

The ol' Slurp was in typical work horse fashion last week. My wife and I moved from Minneapolis to Phoenix. We sent a POD down with all the big stuff and drove the vehicles with our personal belongings. 1,700 miles and the truck didn't skip a beat. The weather got nasty in NE and we drove the tail end of a blizzard, no accidents and everyone landed safely in the desert. Busy busy the last 4 weeks!

Edit: I also finally got my truck back from the accident I was involved in on Aug 31. Body shop installed the OEM pieces, I did the aftermarket parts myself. Need to get the grill re-painted and new grill installed. I got it back 1 week before we needed to leave for AZ, so I didn't have time to get that fixed. Felt fortunate to have it back for the big road trip!

Thank you. You can't see it, but I put a really long scratch down the side of it getting to my hunting spot yesterday. I'm still getting used to it coming from a white truck.

Do you have a plan for the center hub cover? It just looks a little odd. Otherwise they look like a great match.

I bought these from a shop on Etsy. They can make a custom one for pretty much anything you have an image of. I chose the flexible one with no bezel. I got them to print an image of my usmc unit logo.
this was the proof they sent me before I had them go to print.

Your new digs look familiar (the POD better be short term - HOA's there are brutal):
My son also moved from MN to AZ (PHX) long ago... Queen Creek now. I'm sure he'd be glad to show you all the Toyota haunts. Has the rare Supra stick-shift and misses his Tacoma TRD 4x4 (and 2020 4-Runner) something awful - might benefit from experiencing your Tundra; Anyway, if you could use some Toyota friends in the area, PM me.

Cool stuff - it seems like there are a lot of Midwesterner's down here!

We just moved from an HOA and I said "never again", but everything down here is an HOA, it was hard to avoid. Luckily the POS....I mean POD was there for 3 days before they picked it up - no issues.

We're starting fresh, always looking for some buddies with similar interests!

Got the replacement USBC/USB charging port yesterday and installed after work. Had to shave some plastic to get it to fit, which I was hesitant at first but decided I wasn’t going back to the old one anyways. Wired it up and tested it, all is well. Not sure how fast it charges yet just because it was cold and starting to pour so I’ll have to wait and see. But as far as I’m concerned, it works and looks good.
For anyone else looking for a USBC outlet, again I got this Nilight one on Amazon.

Just finished installing an East Detailing steering wheel leather wrap. Took about 1 1/2 hour from start to finish. So much better!

    Pretty things
Really does make a nice difference. +500% good feels while driving too.

Just wish the one I purchased and installed was made with better, top-grain leather. I already have a small knick in my cover that wont "rub-out". I didn't use any tape or glue installing mine, so I guess it'll be easy enough to re-do at some point.

I got the "Lonkey.?" Kit off scamazon, which I cant seem to find anymore.

Still love the cover, which is MILES better than the plastic-rubber BS toyota adorned our trucks with... I'm really just being picky.

    Enjoy yours to the fullest!

Alright I may have a problem lol yet again another addition, just got the auto window switches. Found them in white, which I’d have preferred amber/orange but whatever. Biggest motivation had to have been the lock buttons light up. But very happy with it. Aiming for a sound system update on the door speakers next but we’ll see, yall give me too many good ideas on here lol

It’s made by Nfab, they offered two styles. Fit and finish are junk and they don’t offer anything for the second gens anymore. Here’s the other style with the top hoop bar
