I ordered a Bosch through rock auto, it was too big and douse not fit and now a Toyota filter 17801-0S010 and it’s also too large! It seems like reading reviews through Amazon others are also having issues with 2018-2021 Tundras, so what's the correct part number?

go to any auto parts store website or location, type in year, make, model and engine and it will tell you which filters fit.

Yes, I ran into the same thing with my 2021. There are two separate filter housings used. One is the small (10.25") which has a paper filter with rubber surround. It's commonly called the "soft" filter. Toyota part number 178010P100 like Joe says. Also can be found as Fram FDA11895 or Napa FIL 200085. This is the one mine has.

The "large" filter is 12.45" if I recall correctly, has a cloth-like filter media, with much looser (wider spaced) pleats and a plastic frame around the outside. It's called the "rigid", and has a Toyota Part number 178010S020 (Fram FDA10343).

    Hope that helps.

The Tundra has one engine are filter (17801-0P100). That other filter you posted is for a Tacoma, 4runner and Supra 1993-2004. https://toyotaparts.ourismantoyotaofrichmond.com/oem-parts/toyota-air-filter-1780107020

    Hi Joe -

Respectfully, I disagree. The Amazon ad I linked was for the photo (to show the difference between the two styles), not for the part number.

If you look up parts for my 2021 Tundra on Toyota's parts lookup, there are two parts shown. One is the 1780-0S010 (the rigid) and one is the 17801-0P100 (the soft). They are different sizes, and both sohw fitting Tundra 5.7 and Sequoia. To be fair, I'm not sure which trucks got which one, but the housings are different. Mine has the soft one.

    Cheers,
    Russell
