Here you go. Little Carolina squat while showing his Independent trucks. Just needs a Birdhouse slap and this rigs ready for the X-games. #truckgoals

Maybe it’s just 2.5s because that 2 looks normal :notsure:

... or maybe he has 10 bodies stuffed in the bed of that truck, and he's exceeding payload :notsure:

C'mon man, be serious for once!!!

It's a CrewMax - it must be full of dead elves or half their torsos would be hanging over the tailgate. Is it too late for Nick to catch up to them and take a peek?

Also, who the hell would want to live on a street named "Mayor Elmer F. Cravalho Way"? I'm sure he was a nice guy and all but damn. It seems like they could've dropped the "Elmer F." and people would still figure out who it was named after.

Saw two pigs off the side of the road yesterday.. maybe he picked those up and is taking it home for supper

also, both were on their backs with feet pointed straight in the air? Anyone know if that’s how they go down?

Apparently it's been a bit since I posted updates. Some good ones this time around: Viper cut, new ditch lights, and the hood bulge light bar.

Viper cut - this has been done quite a bit on the forum and was on my list for a while, but @memario1214's build made me finally pull the trigger. I think it turned out pretty good, and should keep me from needing a new bumper for a little while longer (sorry for cutting up your donor bumper, @dittothat)

    IMG_1959.HEIC.jpg
    IMG_1953.HEIC.jpg
    IMG_1954.HEIC.jpg

Ditch lights - picked up a set of SS3 Pros and added my SSC1s for cornering lights. This whole thing set up a cascading effect of rewiring on the SP9100, but that was long overdue anyway.
    IMG_2039.HEIC.jpg
    IMG_2085.HEIC.jpg
Y-cables to hook up the cornering and main lights from the same 3-wire cable
    IMG_2054.HEIC.jpg
    IMG_2061.HEIC.jpg
Part of the SP9100 rewire - added 4-pin DT connectors to the whips so that the connections are actually serviceable
    IMG_2012.HEIC.jpg
New lenses on the rear bumper lights for better chase lights (combo)
    IMG_2089.HEIC.jpg

Aaaand the hood bulge light bar - more details to come on this, but it basically required a shitload of cutting and re-fitting. But I'm very happy with how it turned out.

Super curious on this Hood bulge Stealthbar mod, cause I just got one myself.

    Digging that cut bumper, too

Would a 30" be easier? Maybe I buy one for the bulge

A 40” bar shouldn’t be too bad. The S8 seems like it fits way better with less cutting. The DD 42” is just long and a little taller so there was more cutting that I’d like.

Yeah, I figured the length made it tough. Thinking the 30" would be easier. Although the height probably be the same. Those S8's are pricey!

Looks great! Hopefully will give ya some better approach angles

And does this mean you got a negative bus bar or are we still stacking ring terminals on the fender ground point?

I've heard this is a decent budget bar that pairs well with the SDHQ mount kit - there would still be cutting involved, but should fit pretty well

The more you cut the weaker it gets. I was driving down the highway at 85 and looking under the hood bulge through the front of it and seeing the highway from the drivers seat. That taught me a lesson. The next bulge I put on I put a aluminum flat bar under the back part that meets the hood and curved it to match. Then I gorilla glued it to the bulge with no issues driving over 100mph in Mexico :spy:

I was looking at that as an option, and I might still do it someday, but I had to set the DD bar far enough back that the gap would be pretty noticeable without the grille in place. So, for now, the grille hides that gap, gives some support to the front side of the top of the bulge, and also makes it more "stealth". I'm sure I'll iterate on this a few more times though, lol.

Your ditch lights look great, too. I just bought something similar for the ol' lady's Jeep. They have such fun, easy mod stuff for Jeeps. Makes me jealous sometimes

I stole the side shooter idea from @BiggHertz originally and then @memario1214 did it too. I like having the full sized pods there and some better cornering light.

When are you gonna post up some build threads for the Tundra and Jeep??

I thought about doing the Tundra before, but the mods are so mild and can be seen on just about any Tundra. So I never bothered.
The wife's Jeep does have it's own IG page of course, haha, but I don't think she's updated it much. But, that thing is pretty stock still.

Their directions and template leave much to be desired. Read several times and I measured my total and centered what I needed
