Slide in camper mounting suggestions

Hey all, so I have an 06 double cab with a six pac camper on the back of it. The camper is made for Tacoma and ranger sized trucks and sticker says 900lbs dry. I’m looking to better mount it because its slid a little bit over the past couple months. Trying to make a new platform so it sits a little lower and also has side walls so it can’t slide within the bed laterally. I was wondering if anybody runs a truck camper on their first gen and what turnbuckles or tie downs you guys use? I just have it on the bed mounts with ratchet straps currently. I only found this TorkLift set that’s made for it but am hesitant about dropping so much on them. And on top of that finding turnbuckles that will probably break my bank. Just want to get a safe and secure way to mount it, hopefully on a budget. Figured I’d ask here to see if you guys have any experience.

Whoaaaa that's sketchy. That being said, my lady's uncle has had a 4 wheel camper on the back of his AC for 10 plus years. I'm pretty sure he has had Torklift on there the whole time, or something that looks exactly like it.

 

I have a northstar that I put on the back of my 2003 AC. I built a little spacer to put in the front of the bed to keep it from going too far forward. A friend of mine built some angled wood blocks and put them on the sides so when he lowers his camper it automatically slides into the center.
I also use the torklift to strap it down. I've seen some lightly used turnbuckles for sale online for cheap. Could look around and find something.

That isn't a heavy camper, but I bet wind does a number on it.
