i bought it that color. It’s a snug top brand. Was going to have it painted but kind of like the darker color now. Picked it up for $250

oh the guy that put them up at the beginning of the month? haha. I'm debating getting those permanent soffit lights or not before I end up hanging up lights twice this year.

 

@The Black Mamba how did your hood paint end up looking? Don’t think I ever saw a good pic of the final result?

 

That’s because I have yet to do anything with it (wet sand, compound). It looks a hell of a lot better than it did, but I haven’t “finished” it

 

Finally got a chance to get out and wheel this thing.

Nice! That camper is basically what everyone wants: Color-matched, windoors on the sides, and in excellent shape! My mileage is still lower, but those low miles come with consequences, unfortunately. More info over here...

 

Yes, I read the part about low mileage trucks with some dismay. I think I'll do the first few oil changes at 3K with some Liquid Moly cleaner and hope for the best. I commute 20 minutes each way to work at highway speeds, so hopefully it does this engine some good. Still happy with the find, and not scared. Timing belt soon and keeping a close eye on everything else.
