Oh, I have no issue with the mileage. Wife was grousing about it until I reminded her that even counting the cost of the trailer ($450) and gas, we're still not even halfway to the cost of paying someone ELSE to move the stuff. :)

For those running 5160 rear shocks, does it come with the top bushings? If not where did you source new ones?

It’s been about 6 years since I put them on but I think they came with new bushings and steel cups.

OEM battery quit on me.. went to Mexico for a week, even in the heated garage she died.. oh well.. almost 10yrs for a battery is pretty damn good. 4yr replacement warranty on the one I got to go in, happy with that. On the plus side, I didn’t have to re program my Start X remote starter!

Yeah, mine look hard and cracked. Ended up ordering new set from Toyota. Part #47131-0C040 and #48505-0C020. More expensive than I was hoping at $72 shipped

I got tired of the huge gap that the rear RC bumper created, so filled it with reflective tape. We'll see how long it lasts on the uneven surface.

I just got back from Cabo and was worried about my battery because it got cold while I was gone. But it still fired up after sitting for a week.

Cabo, nice!! I thought about putting it on trickle charger.. didn’t think it was necessary but being an older battery just nothing left of it.. Wife’s 19’ RAV4 fired right up after a week outside in Toronto though which was clutch lol I diiiid bring a portable booster just in case lol

Yes I did, did it by myself so mounted the bumper section first then mounted the winch.

Did a traditional Thanksgiving unorganized camping and winter offroading in northern Maine woods. Took my brother-in-law to experience some single digit weather and shoot from the big bore that I seems have straightened quite well.

P.S.: our beer froze... :( But not our attitude! :)

    Brand new cabin air filter!
Does changing my cabin air filter count for this thread? :D

Hitting 1 week tomorrow with my new '18 Tundra Sport and just received in the mail today the TRD intake air flow accelerator piece that comes with the TRD intake kit.I honestly think just the accelerator is the price piece of the intake kit as is the filter itself. Not a huge mod but starting really small for now as I still got some ways to pay it off. Also got the AFE dry filter to throw in there too so again, nothing extreme just yet. More to come..

Revamped my ARB compressor mounted under the bed. Added an air tank and replaced the crappy ARB filters with dry flow reusable filters and hydrophobic socks. Had previously upgraded the relays to waterproof, and sealed up the internal wiring.

Dave, with your frame boxed in, what did you do with all of the cables and brake lines that were in there? Or are they still in there and come out somewhere? What if you need access to them

Everything is moved, nothing hidden in the frame rails. In the middle of wiring in this pic, but can see brake line routing, and the wiring is mostly where it was, just along the inner frame box plate. The evap box, fuel pump controller etc. is relocated and accessible as well.

I'm sure you have answered this question before.... but why did you go to all the trouble of boxing your frame in? I know its going to make it way stronger and eliminate any frame flex... but is the juice worth all that squeezing?
