I shopped around a bit. Ended up getting mine from
    www shocksurplus com
I only got the front. The research showed that they are the same as the 4600. The only difference is the color and the fronts are adjustable. My rear 4600 are still good for a couple years.

I would also like a deal on some 5100's. The Summit racing "sale" price isn't that good imo.

This seller on eBay is highly rated and has had the lowest price since I've been on the market. Thats there everyday price though, so I'm not in a rush.

$100 a corner would be a deal and $75 a corner would get me really excited.

Most users around here will caution you about using eBay for parts out of fear of counter-fit goods. It's generally good advice, but I have never had an issue buying from a seller with 100% positive feedback and thousands of sales.

Yup, read this if you haven’t, make sure your rig is safe enough, and mechanically sound enough to drive and work on, and check suspension info section too: https://www.tundras.com/threads/so-you-wanna-buy-just-bought-a-1st-gen-tundra-eh.115928/

SuspensionLifts (formerly BilsteinLifts) is usually a good place to get a package deal. I like anyone who does free shipping.

One guy on here ordered off scAmazon and there was something really weird with the shaft on his rear shocks that was suspicious as hell! Wasn’t finished right or something. Nothing as bad as not being threaded, but it was really questionable.

Summit always does free ship which I appreciate.

This is why I use sites like CamelCamelCamel.com before pulling the trigger on purchases (when possible, they support a limited variety of storefronts)

Thanks for the suggestions. Definitely checked the “so you bought a first gen thread” (it’s an awesome thread by the way)

Truck just had timing belt, bearings, radiator, and all the gear fluids.

going to do the LBJs as well but since I’m in there seeing if a lift should be done. Probably gunna do the UCAs too.

FYI anyone who is short on tools or wants a spare rugged box to throw in the truck, check this $40 (50% off) for this 253-piece set at TractorSupply.

    LINK: https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/jobsmart-253-pc-mechanic-tools-set-mm-and-sae-js20211111

Paired up with a set of metric Gearwrench wrenches in a cloth roll-up would make a formidable set for most situations. I'm sure Jobsmart is on par with Harbor Freight or Northern Tool, all mainland China made I’m sure.

EDIT¹: Actually it’s probably made in the same damn place as this $120 Kobalt 277pc set. They’re strangely similar. And actually, someone on Reddit found at least one Jobsmart 40pc set that's identical to Kobalt, minus branding...

EDIT²: This Gearwrench set for $49 Gearwrench wratcheting set could be a nice filler set for the lack of wrenches: https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/gearwrench-20-piece-ratcheting-wrench-set-1126321

EDIT³: I'm actually going to buy a box just to empty it out and throw on the sockets on the $2 Harbor Freight organizer rails, then into a roll-up for the truck. $40 for all that stuff is pretty nuts IMHO.

"Up to" 25% off. The 6112 kit I've been eyeing up is still just 15% off.

Plus I'm still undecided on what suspension setup I ultimately want, so I'm going to try and correct the Toyota lean and just deal with my lousy Monroe struts for the time being....

What is 24mm? Like 1/3 of a medium sized snickers? Ask for a proper size, not some French nonsense.

I remember watching some of Marlins Crawlers youtube videos where they have like 3 or 4 of those things installed on a manual Tacoma for an ungodly amount of gear reduction. Let the clutch out in first and the thing would just walk up obstacles at idle like it was nothing.

    Edit: The video...
