Heading out this afternoon to pull some parts at the local salvage yard.

They have a 2004 AC in limited trim that possibly has a good condition hood and driver fender that I need.
I cross referenced part numbers for the the hood and fenders using the Toyota parts website based on each trucks vin so I'm mostly confident that we're good to go there.

Onto the meat of the question. Anybody swap a limited grill and lower headlight trims onto a base truck?

The headlights/fender/hood are the same P/N across both trucks, but below the headlights is where everything is different.

I plan to fabricate a new front bumper, but I would like to retain the lower headlight trims. Luckily being a you pull yard, I can grab the associated trim brackets etc.

Typing this out I realize this is probably new territory. Ill do some documenting for the forum knowledge base, but any insight is appreciated.

I need the drivers side rear vent window latch

Meanwhile, there is a thread on here about swapping bumper styles and what is required. Having a hard time finding it though…

Im happy to grab it for you if its in "shifty" condition. The interior of that truck is pretty ratty though.

Here's a thread with some insight

The Limited headlight trims bolt into the same locations as the base/sr5 full width upper bumper trim.

If you are Swapping to a Limited trim bumper you will also need:

    Lock Support
    Support Bracket L
    Support bracket R
    Energy Absorber
    Reinforcement
    Upper Retainer

in addition to the resin Limited bumper.
