Lol, I was wondering the same as well.

Did some brake stuff last week too. Fronts were squeaking like crazy, so I re-greased a bunch of stuff (pins, behind pads, etc) and no more squeaky... well, except for a completely different squeak when i go over small bumps now, but I think I need a tad more grease on the pin heads.

I do have the z36 brake upgrade in a box in the garage, but I think I'll save that project for a real rainy day... pretty sure I need 17" wheels, anyway.

Yeah, the springs pop in and out easily if you take the pin out. Bending them seemed to work but it seems like a poor design.

Congrats, do tell though: Is the stud on that flange pressed or threaded?

His 1st pic. Note the oddball. I'm assuming threaded hence the bolt, but asking for future knowledge.

Replaced the alternator. Also cleaned the throttle body while I was in there and replaced a few vacuum lines that didn't survive removal of the intake. It was time for them anyway.

    Yup. More pics below.

Initial feedback? Noticeably more hum while driving. Not obnoxious, but maybe halfway there. I did notice a little driftiness to it when I first left, and making a U-turn on the 4-lane road in front of the place, I could tell I was definitely rubbing (maybe because 17x9? that xtra half inch would be just enough), even with 2" lift and LT275s, you can see where below. And I'm actually surprised how much heavier it feels on acceleration. But I'm still waiting on the alignment #s, I think caster may be off what Assassin reco'd.

    Need some OEM spares?

(I don't think I'm planning to keep them - and still not sold on these wheels yet, either. I really would prefer something more gold. I may look into what it'd cost to have these refinished.)

This is the best I could get on numbers, blurry as hell, and I don't know which is before or after, I assume left is 'before' because I know the driver side camber was farther off when I finished. The guys told me I got really damn close for freeballing the alignment after the lift, but that doesn't help.

They've convinced the numbers they're showing below are what's best for me. I think I'll ping them tomorrow and ask for clearer shots.

Yup that's where you gotta :sawzall:
Though I recommend an angle grinder or cutting wheel for the metal bits. You can use what ever for the plastic. I used the tin sheers

This beaver has been busy, slow and steady. A week or two ago I embarked on a journey, I had most of the parts minus some custom fabing and wiring materials(I did good on my take offs; maybe 1.5’ of extra from each Ga wire I bought)
