    Hi All,

Got a lot of good info from here so thought I'd put this up to help anyone looking to replace the steel from bumper on the older models.

Mine finally rusted enough that the mount was falling off. I really only needed the chrome bumper and left bracket but everything on it was rusty. This is the cheapest aftermarket replacement I could find - it was all made in Taiwan. I tried to find a local replacement but any good ones were gone right away and the rest were worse than mine.

I compared prices/kits from us-autopartsplus, carpartswholesale, and ebay as these were the lowest. I only reused the 4 bumper bracket to frame bolts and the two plastic front license plate mounts.

    Ebay - driving lights $79.99

Area Toyota partdeal dealer (mine does shipping only - no pickup)

    52146-0C010 2000-2006 Toyota Tundra - Bumper Side Bracket $15.20 1 $15.20
    90540-08018 1993-2006 Toyota Side Bracket Bushing $6.69 2 $13.38
    90080-18065 1998-2018 Toyota Flare Nut $2.53 1 $2.53
    Standard Shipping: $9.35

    Amazon - hardware

    Body bolt / clip kit 35PC $8.09 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TKB45PP
    SS flare nut kit 105PCS $12.96 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VZFGTZY

I did have to grind off one of the side brackets to remove the old bumper and the bushings were almost gone. I have a bunch of left over clips, u-clips, bolts, and stainless steel flare nuts but I think it was the cheapest way to get all the hardware needed.

    Total was $537.59.

I'll see how long it lasts to compare the value.

Also - I couldn't find the splash guard mounting brackets so I used a couple of zip strips. I might make the new ones out of some leftover ABS plastic.

Hope this helps someone, if they need to replace the bumper.

You know I usually hate cheap aftermarket crap like those fasteners, but mine all look like hell (many are rusted or just nasty in some way), so I am tempted to try these in a few spots for $15 bucks just to freshen things up. Fantastic post, by the way!

    Thanks!

That was my thought too, but looking at how rusty the existing hardware is - I have no doubt I'll have to cut them to remove them anyway and replace them so I went with the cheap hardware.
