I went to Ace hardware to make a key copy. And they will not copy a key with a chip if any check engine or tpms lamps are on. My 4 tires Cooper Discover htp
275/55/20 The tire size on my door frame 305/50/20 30front 33psi rear* the freaking spare is a 18" far as I can see. This is how I bought the truck. I tried resetting the tpms twice and nothing still flashing .
    This is so genius.
Is there a hack to getting a chip key made ??

It isn't too hard to get rid of the TMPS light. This post in the Disable TPMS thread is what I followed. https://www.tundras.com/posts/975359 That should allow you to get your key copied and no longer have that dang light lit on your dash. The summary is you cut one wire then tie one side of that wire to another wire. These wires are behind/under the glove box. If you don't want to do that, you could try another key shop.... someone that specializes in auto keys.
