What is this knocking sound in my 2022 tundra. Does anyone else’s pickup have it? I am trying to upload a video from my iPhone but can’t get it to upload. If you know what it is, Please share what it is. Ty.

That sounds bad. But IDK what it might be. It might help if you could trim the video to just the part with the knocking. Some members here report a transmission "ticking" in park. Maybe that is what this is?

Looks like you've been doing some off-roading. Has it always made the noise? What's the whole story? Sounds engine or driveline associated, RPM dependent.

In the video I also heard that the OP has a brake squeal as reported by quite a few members here. Luckily mine has escaped that fate... so far.

Sounds like internal engine metal knock to me. Like a connecting rod. Hope I’m wrong.

I am not for sure what it is. I check wells out in the oilfield and we have had a ton of rain this year. It has washed out many roads. But still have to get to them. The wheel well liner, my dealership knows about, and is going to fix it at next oil change. Here are some of my roads

I took it to the dealer and they heard me pulling in to the shop. The mechanics were asking me what that noise was? What did I do to my truck. So they are trying to squeeze it in to get it looked at on Monday.

Pretty standard dealer language. This will be your fault.

That sounds like a $30k rebuild and 2 months without your truck is what that sounds like.....

Hope you washed it up good and had no signs that truck was used in an off-road manner.....

Make sure you have had no water ingestion through the intakes, so check out the air filters to see if there is evidence. If there is, no need to run to autozone and get new ones. They will know.

Wash your truck before going back to the dealership.

I believe you have the crankshaft bearing issue some members have been reporting.

Here is a link you can post the mileage and any other details once the techs determine what the problem is.
