I second this. Took this kids on a bike ride to the donut store this morning at 7:30. It was like 95 and just blazing. I don’t remember what clouds look like.

But so is, ah, your username.

Variety is the spice of life. I'm glad not everyone who lives around me shares my view. It means we get more viewpoints contributing to anything that happens, which lends to things being less polar. I'm glad I'm not blind or oblivious to how beneficial that is.

Ah, another build article from some popular magazine ... I predict a wave of new members in 3, 2, 1....

(Well, looks like it's a little over a year old, maybe it's already passed)

Awesome! Welcome to the forum. Looks just like another blue/silver 2-tone that was showing up in the local ATL Craigslist 'til this week, but that one clearly had some serious rust issues based on all the rust I was seeing on the rear trailer hitch.

I'm biased, but this may be a good place to start on the forum to learn more about your truck: https://www.tundras.com/threads/so-you-wanna-buy-just-bought-a-1st-gen-tundra-eh.115928/

Hell, I was there with my wife and a trailer with complete privacy and a queen sized bed and I didn't get laid.

But that's probably cause I'm old and spent the entire time drinking beer.

If you're meaning the Tundra and Sequoia Info Centers(circuit board/screen) are the same as far as physical dimensions, you are correct.

The below is from a 2004 Sequoia that I got at my Pik-A-Part place. I initially got it hoping it would work totally in a Tundra with the extra features but as mentioned above, no dice. It was an interesting rabbit hole and as luck would have it, I was able to put my Info Center in the 04 Seq shell when my sunglass door malfunctioned.

bought it off craigslist, only place there was rust was the trailer hitch, I came from tacomaworld, so I checked the frame before I hopped in the truck.

After some sleuthing, Sedona is gonna be a no for me. Probably a better place to VRBO occasionally. Looks like Cloudcroft, NM would be a good place for a summer home though. Much cooler temps, and very affordable. Lots of cool stuff in driving distance.

I'd love to know the date on those old ass Michelins. I wouldn't be surprised if that was the second set of tires on that truck. What's your total mileage?

Also another example of a two tone truck with the two tone specific flares.

There’s a guy that installed my suspension some years ago that has been doing tunes on new gen tacomas for some years now. He just started offering the tune for v8 GX470 and 4 runners. My buddy did it on his v8 gx470 and said he is getting 22 highway mpg on 33s

I sent the tuner an email he said he down to try in on my tundra, he just needs to scan the ecu

iv seen him do a ton of Tacomas so I know he’s legit in what he does

Probably the same tune I'm getting soon too, VF Tune/OV Tune.
But I'm getting mine done in ATX by DownHill Dragon Tuning.
My buddy is the tuner and he did another buddies GX and he loves it.

I think it only works on VVTI models though.
I'm sure they'll eventually make a non VVTI tune, unless I'm mistaken and they already have
