I have noticed that my driver's seat, specifically the back (not the seat), is putting out some heat, but it is not as a result of me turning it on, and there are no indicator lights on showing that it is engaged. I can turn on the heat (and the cool too), and they work with indicator lights showing.

    Anyone else see this?

I know it is not body heat, b/c I do not get it as a passenger.

Have you taken it into the shop to address the issue, Tundraaa3?

    Lots of stuff!
Do you have a thermal gun that you can point at the seat and get a temperature reading. This will help to explain to the service techs that there really is a problem as most of them just look at you like you have just landed on this planet when you explain the issues! ;)

This is what I have for my work (sort of pricy) but something that can read heat when you aim it would be very useful.

I have had my truck (2023 Limited) since February, with 12,000 miles on it now. Its crazy that someone has just created a thread for this because just this past week I have noticed the back of my seat getting unusually hot. This is the first issue Ive had with my truck. The first time it happened was this past Wednesday. It has happened 2 more times since then. I Thought I had accidentally clicked the seat heater button, but no...the indicator light was off. I almost thought I could smell something burning. But even though the heater indicator was "off" I most definitely could tell that the back of my seat was heating up. I ended up turning on the seat cooler because it had gotten so hot.

None; Has not happened again since my last post, and I was waiting to use the thermal gun to prove it. I'm still going to get to the bottom of this!~

Report back with what you find. I might unplug the heated seat connecter for now. It's 100 degrees where I am.

Nothing has happened since I posted either...imagen that...And like you I'm in southern GA so it is hot down here. But I also have a thermal temp gun that I've been riding around with to catch it if/when it happens again. Ill post if I'm able to come up with anything.

It happened again on my way to work this morning and I was able to get a temp reading. Ill upload the pictures, though they may be a bit fuzzy. The passenger seat back was reading around 79-80 degrees and the driver seat was reading between 95-96 degrees.

Wow! Thanks for taking the time to do that and upload it. This will help me out when I take it to the dealer, I wonder what's causing it to engage?

No problem, hopefully this will help some of us out. I Don't know what is causing it, but it is very irritating. I will bring it up at my next service (15,000 mile). I'm sitting at 12,000 miles now so it'll probably be early/mid August. But if yall find anything out before then PLEASE let us know!
