Hi all! Has anyone had any experience with the putco 48" blade light bar?. It has red leds that blink like the tail lights and a white led in the middle. I kinda know about installation from their you tube videos but I need to know if the reverse white light under the tailgate will be too much for backup camera? The oem camera has a light already in the handle but i was wondering if this light down low would be too bright and distort vision of camera or possibly make it clearer. The camera at night has a little red in picture on screen when backing up and touching the brakes. Any ideas? Can you help? Thanks and hope everyone has a great weekend ! smileytn1

No amount of axillary light will be "too much" for the back up camera (unless you're shining it at the camera).
I run 2x of these under the rear bumper, and things are now "bright enough":

Putco is pure crap. I'm surprised they are still in business.

No daytime glamour shots, but took these:
-inside on 14" screen while in "R"
-outside at night (yes, I can run them together with truck's backup lights when in "R" or independently of any/all lights or drive mode, hence why you don't see any other lights on in 'exterior' pics)

5 years and mine is still working fine. The light works perfect with the camera.

I'm too broke after buying this rig to afford mods.
