Re-did the window tint. Went 5% in the back over factory tint and 15% up front.

I had mine redone today as well. Stayed with 15% on the back and went from 90% to 50% on the newly replaced windshield. Also upgraded to the 3M Ceramic IR Series because my brain was getting poached.

I did ceramic as well. Not sure the exact brand. VA doesn’t allow windshield tinting and actually my front windows should only be 50%.

I'm pretty certain that no state allows it, and where I live I was told that the fronts can be 37% (I was surprised it was that dark). Here even LE have their front windows done (taxis, livery, fire protection district passenger vehicles too), because they understand, and if you're not a blockhead, they typically won't make an issue of it.

Got the Flowmaster Super 50 put on. Nice rumble. Low and contained. Not bad cruising on the highway.

Oil and Filter change. Decided to do it myself again and spent a few extra bucks to get the fumoto valve, motivex wrench, and a generic brass oil filter tube. Still took me over an hour but it should be way easier next time. One issue I ran into that I wasn't expecting was the plate that covers the filter drain port was on as tight as could be, I think someone must have tightened the cover with that hole last time. I couldn't get it unscrewed without unscrewing the whole filter. I took it to the bench and got it apart after.

Really hoping the fumoto/filter drail cut down on the mess. No matter how hard I try I always end up with oil everywhere.

I honestly don’t know. They were on the truck when I purchased them. I did find someone selling the exact same ones and painted white in CL last year so I picked them up.

If you look up Tundra Pocket Fender Flare bolt on you’ll find a lot.

I added this the other day to the center console. May not be necessary, but it’s nice having a little more storage areas.

I did end up taking a Dremel to the bottom of where the small can holder would be. That way I get the full depth with the stock holder.

Installed the Morimoto X3B 3rd brake light / bed light. Sharing this because it’s advertised as only fitting 14-21 model years, but it does fit the 2nd gens as well!
(The black wires are for my bed rail LEDs, and not part of the brake light)

Got the alcan springs installed. Some serious rake but got 2000lb rating to compensate for tractor towing and all the extra armor /camping gear/topper. To my surprise unloaded it rides really well and not harsh at all. Did cut my exhaust just below the hanger since it was touching the leafs. 942CE19C-E588-4F02-8F4E-CBAF7AC43E89.jpgBE665555-6402-45AA-98DF-9F0AEB9C7801.jpg F79E5E94-B947-4B1F-8962-C60A7F20EC9D.jpg

Added a rack on the back and mounted Jerry Can. Still not sure on whether I like the location.

Hoping someone has tried this or has a wiring diagram. I'm trying to upgrade my 2012 Tundra R/W edition steering wheel. I have the stock wheel and controls. Looking to buy the AZA steering wheel https://azaautowheel.com/product/st...sequoia-napa-perforated-leather-white-stripe/. I have controls from a Tundra 2.5 gen wheel and they have additional buttons. When I tested the controls on my 2.0 gen Tundra very few of them mapped to the head unit. I'm assuming there is either S/W or a wiring diagram I need. Or do I need to just buy the 2.5 gen controls that equal my 2.0 gen buttons (i.e. volume, channel up/down, mode, phone on, phone off and bluetooth talk)? Anyone had any luck with steering wheel control button additions or steering wheel mods? I'll add some photos to this post.

For me, that would be difficult to lift that high, even if it were only half filled.
