I stopped drinking before beer got all fancy fuck but the lime and salt one doesn't sound that appealing. The grapefruit one looked kind of good though.

I don't drink a whole lot anymore. I honestly love water. But I'll have a few beers and can appreciate some nice ones. The others were good.
Back in the day I was drinking bud light and michelob

I would drink if it wouldn't possibly put me a step closer to having to start chemo. I was really partial to Tequila in my younger years and ciders later on. Water and my one energy drink a day are my new jam.

Had a "BUM" energy drink earlier today. I bought it because of what they wrote on the can.

Man, if I still drank I'd be all over that shit. I likes me a deal.

I was at Lowes today and they had a cordless Bosch Bulldog Rotary Hammer on clearance for $70 (Normally $179). They also had a deal where if you bought a certain model Bosch tool you'd get either a battery starter pack or two batteries for free (I think they were normally $139). The managers weren't too excited about it but honored it anyway. I'm gonna charge it up and go fuck up the neighbors driveway. :)

My go-to drink is typically Jack n Pepsi. But I'm out of jack now. Plus my wife says I get handsy when I drink that. I don't know where she'd get that idea

Yeah, it didn't do much for me but I'm a big boy caffeine drinker.

Oh yeah love those. Had a shitty bar where I grew up and when I became old enough to drink my friends and I dared each other to go in there one night. It had a pretty rough reputation so we were expecting the worse. We walked in ready to rumble and it was like a High School reunion in there. Hell the first time anybody ever offered me coke (I turned it down) was when I was taking a leak in the bathroom. Anyways, cheap drinks and the bartender was very heavy handed with her pouring. It was more like a Jack with a splash of Coke or Pepsi for some bubbles. Loved that bar.

Unsurprisingly it burnt down to the ground right after I joined the Army.

:fistbump: same. my tolerance is higher on meds and caffeine. used to be the same on alcohol, but not much anymore since i don't drink as much as i did in high school
my wife laughs (and is slightly disgusted) when i make my drinks at home. she says it's typically "Jaaaaaaack....and a splash of coke". i admit they're stronger, but they're not quite that bad.
i did go to a bachelor party in crystal beach a few years back and while out at the shitty bar (The Ship's Wheel i believe is the name), I was ordering beer, taking a huge swig out of it, then adding in my own jack daniels i brought in a flask. i got polluted pretty quick that night. the "cougars" that were there were more like Chupacabras when brought into the light.

i got one that's been enjoying softball a lot, we'll see what the others do as they get older.
it's funny, i'm not concerned about wedding fees. wife and i start an account we pay into monthly. they get that money when they're 21-25 (we decide). Not giving them it when they're 18, cuz we all know the mental maturity of most 18 year olds are different when they're a little older. the money they get will be up to them to use. wedding, school loans, car, down payment on a house, etc. if they want debt for any reason that's typically under their control, they're going to have an option to get out with this. i sure as shit ain't paying for 4 separate weddings a few years apart from each other....luckily the wife agrees with me whole heartedly on this too.

THAT is a screamin deal! Nice score!
Little local dive-bars are great. Strongest drinks, best prices, for sure. I spent a good 10 years dating barmaids from local dives. Was on a bowling league team once, dart league team once, captain of a pool league team thrice, and ate more pickled eggs than I ever should have. But, had some good times in them lil dive bars.....

Are all your kids BDays on the same day? Or in the same general time frame? Like 9months after your birthday or New Years or St Patrick’s day?

Like the true idiot that I am, we are leaving for a camping trip to central AZ tomorrow in the middle of a heat wave. Luckily, the state park has full hook-ups so the trailer will have AC the whole time, unless my trailer AC takes a shit. Hopefully not, knock on wood, pray to the baby Geebus, Buda, and Alaaaaaa.
