Timing belt success

    Replaced the TB and WP in my 06’ DC 4.7l. 2006 with 130,000 miles.
    Used the
    $183 AISIN TKT021 AISIN TKT-021 Engine Timing Belt Kit with Water Pump - Compatible with Select Lexus GS400, GS430, GX470, LS400, LS430, LX470, SC400, SC430 Toyota 4Runner, Land Cruiser, Sequoia, Tundra
    AISIN TKT021 from Rock Auto.
    All in with everyone’s help here, and the videos from A1 auto it took about 8 hours.
    Everything in those videos were pretty spot on.

    the belt actually looked ok. There was a small coolant leak on bottom of pump on drivers side….

    Only tool I purchased was the crank pulley holder. $25 on Amazon.

    Is that a 130k mile belt? Just did a Land Cruiser and EVERY rib valley had a crack (at supposedly 120k miles)…

    It was the bracket that goes on the bottom of the AC compressor. Only thing that I had not installed, just didn’t think that bolt was correct….. it was.
