    Hi,

I've installed bigger tires, a lift and I do have a custom exhaust. When I drive 100kmh, my drivers door is shaking. Yes, I did a wheel alignement.
I drove 150km to go to the closest dealership. The mechanic drove 20 minutes in my truck and made sure to report all my mods but he said he couldn't hear the door because of the "drone". Wtf? My exhaust is really quiet. Anyways, all that to say, yes they did put back some seals that were popped out but as soon as I got on the highway, same fucking noise starts happenning. The door shakes so much it feels like it will rip itself apart from the truck. As soon as I hit a bump or feel heavy wind, it rattles.

They will switch my seals that are in front but the problem is more than that. Anyone else have any issues? I love this truck but I hate it at the same time. Paying 60k for something with so many quality control issues. I keep having regrets.

Mine is not that bad, but I do have some door noise. I’m in the same boat as far as loving and hating the truck at the same time!

Yes, I have the same issue and my truck is 100% stock. Drivers side only, 4 trips to the dealership, zero fix.

Did the dealership say they couldn’t hear it or just didn’t have a fix?

They never could reproduce the noise, I don’t even think they tried though. I showed the service advisor and master tech a bunch of videos I have recording in HD. My Toyota app never showed a test drive being performed, just pulled into the bay. Two different dealerships tried replacing the window run and door/body seal twice. It’s now at a 3rd dealer(where I bought), to hopefully address this and some other issues.

I can get the noise to go away and be dead SILENT if I jam my hand/fingers in-between the door/body of the truck(near my head or grab handle). I’m assuming that pressure doesn’t allow the door to move around. Temperature and humidity all seem to factor how loud/annoying the noise is. Which makes sense of the expansion and contraction of the rubber and metals

To get better answers, I have none, you may need to clarify the year of your truck. Your bio says it's a 2020, but you posted in the 3rd gen section that is 2022+, and all the responses so far have been from 2022+ owners.

I can also get the noise to go away by applying pressure.
I put in some foam backer rod today as a test. It took care of 60% of the noise.
I want to love this truck, overall I really like it, all this little shit is just frustrating.

Going again next week as they got a brand new seal in front. Hoping for the best!

You posted this in the third Gen section. Your profile and the door pic you posted appears to be 2.5 Gen. And what do you mean by the door is “shaking”? Like it vibrates? It visibly shakes? Or makes a rattling sound at speed?

I used to drive a 2020 Tundra and I traded it in fkr a 2022 Tundra. My door rattles at High Speeds or on bumpy roads..

My 2024 tundra limited has the front doors rattling and the dash as well. I took it to the dealer and they said they couldn’t hear anything. I drove with the tech and we weren’t able to reproduce the rattle. I then played juke box hero and I played the beginning of the song over and over first 30 seconds with the tech in the car then the rattle started increasing. After we drove and all the bumps in the road made the vehicle rattle. We created the rattle and then we drove another vehicle on the lot. We did the same thing playing the music in a trd pro and it sounded lot worst than my vehicle. Tech said vehicles are as it intended to be and can’t do anything for me.

This probably isn’t the issue for most people, but the plastic cover piece that is behind the interior door handle. It can rattle. On mine I popped it out and fixed it with some Tessa tape behind the piece. The speakers will rattle it.

    Thank you J.
This method didn’t work for me. I did call Toyota corporate to complain about it. They told me to take it to another dealer to see if they can do something about it. I will try to follow up on this till they find a solution.
