okay about the same as mine i think. 500 miles ish or 2 tanks of gas and CEL would happen every 20 miles. so i guess mine is dead for sure.

im trying out these J-style spacers and putting in the insert with the smallest hole, if that doesnt work, il add these spacers with the mini cats inside them. i ordered 4 of those mini cats and im thinking about stacking them + the J-style. maybe il get a "not enough flow" code this time haha

It’s machined with a chamfer for a smooth transition no need to port. But I have been considering sending the blower out for a full porting job lol

I wish I did that and the heads and cammed it while I had the chance, Cams weren't ready at the time. You might have it all hooked up before 4th of July weekend?

Sounds like some other issue. I didn't want to imply defoulers would fix your trucks issue was just trying to understand the delta.

Out of my wheelhouse, I'm a novice on this truck's system and those codes you read could be a number of things. Where you getting these codes before you repositioned your O2 sensor?

The SW cat are high quality cats but quite a few people have problem with them. Could also be as simple as your O2s are fouled or faulty if your truck has a lot of miles on it. O2s clean/replace would be where I would start if your gauge AFRs look solid.

oh i got a chance to look at the SW cats...and man they are not restrictive at all. can clearly see through the other side haha. yup i have clean all of my sensors. cleaned them so good my ecu had to relearn. and the truck had misfire codes on all cylinders and ran lean lmao. cleared, never came back. AFR are at a steady 14.6-14.8 during idle.
and yea ive had this problem after about the first full tank of gas after getting boosted.

Ive talked to SW about this and they said they offer upgraded, OEM quality cats but its not listed on their website. would have to custom order it from them. 400 bucks each.

correction. so i had the CEL come on yesterday and thought to myself, hmmm cat codes again- no biggie. didnt reset it until a few minutes ago and when i checked the codes...its only doing it on bank 1 now. so maybe the J-style spacers worked! will continue to monitor.
but yea also pull another MAF code coz i was trying to race a 392 charger. i need a bigger intake or a retune? if im gonna retune, i might as well get the RC F throttle body upgrade and intake.

I think I just killed my ECU, I started a upload of a tune on my HP tuner, I got to the first stage when you switch the ignition off for ten seconds and my laptop stopped, now nothing happens. I tried to reload the tune and I get this message. PXL_20230617_022224938.jpg

Good times. Now the truck just cranks, I guess I'll be ordering a new ECU from Toyota.

Damn, that sucks. Have you tried disconnecting and draining the capacitors by touching the positive and negative cables? Not sure if that would actually help in this case though

Never mind i see the vin in your pic lol. I had them look it up and for some reason it says the part is not available. Parts guy said they can call Toyota on Monday and find out. Does look like there's a few on ebay for only $200. I don't know how that's possible but hey if its that cheap then so be it.

How’s your truck battery? I’m guessing since it still cranks, it’s fine.

In one of his videos, Viktor was emphatic about having a jumper hooked up to the truck when flashing. I did it about 5 times before I said this is annoying. Probably flashed another 20 times since without an external jumper.

Bank 1 is drivers side. which also makes me think, does moving the upstream O2 sensors have something to do with it too? because I was only able to move it on the passenger side...hmmm

and the MAF code is p0101 Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Range/Performance. i'm maxing it out

We have a Toyota dealership, but it looks like the ECM is unavailable from Toyota. I'm going to try to change the battery and try it again in a few hours. Thank you guys.

I got a p0101 occasionally with the stock intake, especially towing. Switched to the magnuson intake with a honeycomb screen before the MAF and got it retuned. I’ve never seen it again since. Sorry about the struggles @Fastlane47
