Im installing 6112's @ 1.9 with 5100's in the rear. My question is about the shims to make sure the front is level on both sides, what shim should I use?

Sorry, just found the next post from toytec with the info I was looking for

I’m not an expert, but I believe only some tundras have the driver side lean of 1/2 inch which would require one shim. I measured mine with a full tank from the bottom of the fender to the center of the wheel and it appears I didn’t have the lean. So I don’t think I’m installing shim unless I want an extra half inch then I would add one on each side. If I did have the 1/2 inch lean and wanted an extra 1/2 lift and both sides be level I would need to install two shims on driver side and one on passanger. (1/4 inch coach builder shim= 1/2 inch lift) someone correct me if I’m wrong on any of this.

Appreciate the reply and what you state at the end is what Im not sure about. My plan for the rear it to only install the 5100's with nothing else. I don't want to install more shims than the bare minimum just to fix the drivers side lean.

To my understanding you would just have to measure it. If they measure the same from the bottom of the wheel well to the center of the tire you should be good, but if not you’d have to add the shim. I’ve read it’s not noticeable. Just when you measure. I’m going to measure mine again before I install them. I think I’ve measured twice already but I don’t want to put them on and then take them off because I need a shim. I have one shim just in case tho

Im going to double check the measurement but I think I was a bit over a 1/4 inch difference, small amount but not sure if its worth even messing with a spacer. Below is the one im thinking of using but it states "Top plate spacer adds approximately 1/4"-1/2" lift"

I’m not to familiar with those maybe someone else can chime in. The coachbuilder has a slot to let you know how it goes don’t see one on those. I got curious why some tundra have lean and some don’t and I got into this post. https://www.tundras.com/threads/drivers-side-lean.39382/ still reading some but I suppose I’ll know when I change shocks with no shim. Basically they are wondering if stock shocks account for the lean and when we put other shocks it becomes noticeable
