Hey guys, first post here. I just bought a 2015 White Tundra Limited 4x4 with 49,000 on it.

It came with a body lift which looks to be 4” or so with 20” Fuel Hammers (+01mm offset) and 35x12.50x20 Patagonias. It’s rubbing pretty hard near full stop.

What I’m considering, pending what you guys think…..

Switching to 275/65/20 KO2s (which I’ve run on every vehicle the last 7-8 years) and putting either a leveling kit or a ~2” lift. this would pretty much be me finding someone that wants to buy my current tires/wheels…..

or do I just throw on some 1.5” wheel spacers and suck up the 11-12 mpg.

    Thanks in advance guys!

    Too many, but not enough....
Its really up to your taste but the spacers probably will do more harm than good at the offset wheels you already have. The sweet spot on these trucks is around +25

Thanks Max. Lifelong Jeep guy, finally had a chance to afford a nice Tundra.

I’m leaning toward (pending groveling with the wife..) 2.5 Billstein 5100s in front with the 1” Superlift block in the rear, which I believe
Will comfortably fit those KO2s (34.1x11.25x20)

With the current wheels you have? If so it will help your rub but maybe not completely.

What up new guy. Welcome from a fellow Jeep owner.

Sticky'd up top of the subforum linked below is a thread outlining largest tires you can run etc... I'd look that one over

    https://www.tundras.com/forums/wheels-tires.18/

Also we have many other subforums to search through. (Under Tundra Garage)

Suspension is a good one if the Wheel and Tire one doesn't have what your looking for.

Just beware of the Performance and Tuning subforum. You'll lose 13k and gain 230hp if you read through that one too much.

I realize the Jeep community loves pucks. You won't find many here that embrace it.

Most suggest bilstiens all the way around if your going on the cheaper side but functional.

No pucks for me. Had King coilovers over 37” KO2s. But those days are over for me. the Tundra I got came with the body lift (looks to be 4” or so) and I’m just trying to decide the best course of action as it rubs pretty good now.

After reading through the wheel/tire thread and several build threads I’m just trying to find the most efficient and cost effective route. It seems these Fuels with +.1mm were a bad choice by whomever had the truck before me. .

The reason your tires rub is because the wheel offset is wrong. Spacers will only make it worse.
Fix that with the correct wheels and proper front-end alignment before wasting money on more parts that still wont fix the problem.

Slot of that was addressed over the course of the thread, but thanks.

An update as my day has been dedicated to figuring out this suspension. The dealer had told me it was a body lift, but after failing under and taking stock it appears to be a ProComp 6’ lift, there’s a couple procomp tagged pieces, Bilstien 5100s (pretty beat up) and larger than stock knuckles…from what I gather my plan to drop down to 18”s is shot as this lift only works with 20"s. Removing the lift looks like it’d be a nightmare since I don’t have any of the original parts…..so I might just be replacing the current 20" Fuels with a different 20" that has +25mm offset.

anyone here remove a large lift like this? Problems you ran into or recommendations you might have?

Hmm, any pics of the front end? I'm guessing you likely have a cut front crossmember with that lift which will make it hard to go back.

This would be my initial assumption as well. Hard to go from a bracket lift back to stock…

    Hey guys updating this thread…..

went back to the dealership and after a long discussion they took back the 2015 Tundra because of the cut crossmembers and notched frame.

Worked out a deal for a 2018 SR5 with 65,000 miles and TRP Sport Package and SR5 Upgrade package. Happy with the truck and deal.

I appreciate all of you that helped me get things figured out.
