I’ve got 2016 Tundra that’s having some electrical issues. Two weeks ago right headlight goes out, the next day the blinker goes out. Fast forward a few days and the headlight comes back on. I replaced the blinker bulb and that seemed to fix the issue. Earlier this week left headlight goes out and right blinker that was replaced go out. Got aggravated and hit the headlight that was out and it comes back on. Also get a ABS code that says right rear speed sensor is out, this goes off for a few days then comes back on. Had the battery checked and it checked out fine. Found a place locally that can get it in next week but wanted to see if anyone had ideas on what it may be. I’ve checked all visible wires and haven’t found any damage or corrosion. Haven’t made any modifications to the truck either.

Have you checked to see if the truck is throwing off any codes? Most parts stores will let you use their code reader to check.

Yes, C0210, right rear speed sensor. The code will pop up once every few days and stay on for 20 minutes or so then go back off.

Check grounds. Check the negative battery termi al. Also ensure the connectors are fully seated. Those turn signals are finicky at times and require the hulk to come in and press it on all the way.

Bad wheel speed sensors can make all sorts of tomfoolery occur.

Will check those tomorrow. Battery is 5 years old according to date on it, may go ahead and replace.

I had wandered about the speed sensor. Was having headlight/blinker issues before I ever got the code but it came shortly after.

Also check the wires to the sensor. Any breaks and it'll short easy

Finally getting got it to a shop last week. Wheel bearing went out causing debris on speed sensor. They cleaned the sensor and all codes went away. Picking up tomorrow if new wheel bearing assembly is finished. They ran electrical system check and everything was clear. Could the rear sensor be making the headlights act up?

IMG_9982.jpg Bring this back up. Passenger side headlight went out again. This is what happened last time the wheel bearing went out. Climbed underneath to check the speed sensor and found this. Afraid the new wheel bearing is already going bad. It was fixed less than 12,000 miles ago. Could it have been a faulty wheel bearing? Botched job? Or a new issue? Parts are still under warranty.
