Audio wiring

I have a 04 tundra dc limited with the jbl sound system with aftermarket head unit which has been working for several years. All of a sudden lost volume in all speakers to where you can barely hear them. From what I have read, it sounds like the amplifier is bad. Bought a metro

$33 70-8117 Factory Amplifier Harness for 2004-Up Toyota Vehicles with JBL Sound System

70-8117 kit that has no instructions. Is there a place that would show wiring for my specific truck and how it would tie in to the bypass wiring. There is a amp interface in the dash of which I am assuming would be removed? Any advice would be appreciated.

 

If your not purchasing a factory amp for replacement. Buy the Taco Tunes replacement Amp. Easy plug in play install and a nice upgrade.

There are a few diagrams for the different DC audio systems.
1. Rear seat entertainment sytem
2. 8 speaker
3. 6 speaker
Both 1 and 2 have a separate amp.

But I would think if some installed an after-market HU, they would have bypassed the OEM amp upon installation..

Also, I wouldn't buy anything from Taco tunes except for door speaker adapters.
They do make some nice adapters..
