The wife treated me to a Ranger's game yesterday. I'm not a fan of the new park, and we can't watch them much on TV because they have an exclusive gig with DirecTV, so it's been a while since I could really dig into the game knowing the players and mood. But it was a great time.

There's a pizza joint we both like that has GF pizza, Taverna Rossa, and we stopped in on the way home. I always ask restaurants about GF beers, knowing nobody really has them; but they had one I hadn't heard of - - Michelob Ultra Amber Max. It was a decent beer, and I don't get that very often.

    Fun day.

Dang, was gonna send my buddy that info but it’s “gluten-reduced,” not “gluten free.” He’s full-on glutard or celiac or whatever.

Yeah, I have an allergy; not celiac. Rye is one of the bad glutens (barley and wheat are the other two)... Omission and this one (probably) use the same method - an enzyme added to the bottle after brewing, that breaks down the gluten solids. There's no guarantees with that, since the bad juju was in there to begin with. This beer didn't hit me.

If he hasn't already, have him try Glutenberg:
Glutenberg - Beer | Total Wine & More

I just mainly stick to whiskey, but I do miss beer.

I have the same issue. If I eat too much (like I have been lately) my knees ache and my gut complains. If you haven't tried it yet, get some Trienza. If you take it before a Glutin binge and for a couple days after, it helps.

Our bigger dog has not been wanting to go on walks or car rides as of late. We noticed this after we had to put down our oldest dog last month. I’m hoping he’ll get over it and will want to walk again. We took him out last weekend (walk) and he was somewhat resistive at first. Any vehicle passing by he was not a fan of (not normal for him). We think he knows we took the older one and she didn’t come back…and he’s a rescue so I’m not sure if memories are coming back to him? He’s not in any physical pain as he’ll run around the back yard or inside no problem

We took our littlest dog on a 4 mile walk today around the new neighborhood and walked through random construction houses, and ones 95% complete to compare (lol)

So, you're at one year of ownership. Have you been paying extra to pay it off early, or are you on a 5 year plan and paying as scheduled? Or longer? Obviously, being nosy so no obligation to answer.

No worries, I don't mind answering. I took out a 6 year (I think lol.) I figure Tacomas hold their value well so I won't have to worry about being underwater, the payment stays a manageable size so if things ever get tight it's easier to pay, and (in theory but not in practice :anonymous:) I can make bigger payments than the minimum.

On my last tundra I kept paying at least $80-100 more each month to get it down even faster until I was paid for. Sucks but man is it worth it to have vehicles paid off when possible.

Paying extra is always the way. Every month I put an extra chunk down. I don't know the exact amount of extra off the top of my head, but I pay at least $800 every month. I think it works out to something like $240 extra per month, but I can't be sure until I can look at a bill at home. I want to get out from under this payment ASAP. Miss not having debt.

I hear ya. We put 50% down on our truck and we're doubling up the payments. Hoping to have it paid off in a little under 2 years. I'm really looking forward to being debt free (other than my mortgage)

Oh, damn. That'd be REALLY nice. I did ok for the times at a 4.9%, but I'd not be sad if it were a 0%.

Yeah, I just did the equity from the Tundra on it, so less than 50%. I honestly can't believe I have forgotten the numbers. I am usually right on it for my vehicle payment info, but that might have been a side effect of always being on the hunt for the next one. Now that I feel like I found my truck, it doesn't seem to stick anymore.
