    I bought these:

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/283219500291

Their product pic is terrible, makes it look like the emblems are metallic gray but in reality they're matte black.

I had a guy I know who does car audio for a living help with the install, and he also came back to check it out. He came with a bunch of fuses thinking the exact same thing, but it turned out to just be a faulty unit.

I forgot until I looked at the box when sending it back, I had bought an "Outlet" open box one. Maybe it was a returned item that seemed to be in working order but really did have problems.

I do not wanna be a downer but just keep an eye on water lingering under the mat. I was truck shopping recently and looked at a 1st gen tundra with a rubber bed mat and when I lifted it up the bolts we super rusty.

that is all, have a wonderful day good sir

Minor idiot award today. After putting the fog lights in, I left the screws and fasteners out of the mini fender liner until I could adjust them in the dark.

With a rip-tear/whomp-chunk, that b$tch left the scene at 70mph on the interstate to be ran over by the tire that ripped it out (no mercy)!!!... Somehow the wind and the tire got the best of it.

Gone gone gone! I guess I'll put a couple screws in the left side...

Choices were and the Tundra's are gone!!!

Well, the two chrome door emblems are off the truck! :p
That adhesive is a major PITA! The 12lb fishing line had them both off in no time. Then a blade to get the bulk of it off, followed by countless soakings of Goof Off and plastic spudger to pile the goop up.

Polished and waxed the affected area and its 95F. I'm thinking tailgate Tundra gets plastic dip treatment after the Yoda emblem comes off.

So they don't make snorkels for the 4.6L so I made my own.

My mpg has improved by .3

Why do I need access to cleaner air? Because I offroad a ton and I'm about to drive from California up to Washington. I've had issues with debris getting into my intake before.

If only I'd known! Thanks for the link! I ordered two to have on hand.

Also went to the Chemicals Guys website and order $325 worth of orbital buffer, pads, compound, and wax.

JM2C but the ceramic stuff doesn't hold up as well as Carnuba wax so I'm going old school.

This is actually super similar to what @KevinK did with his 2.5 Gen, and something super similar in doing to my truck as well, very well done and super clean, great job man!

Oh damn!! Good to see I'm not the only one haha. I was sitting looking at my engine bay for about 45min and then I realized this was a possability. When to autozone, picked up some 4" or 3.5" Spectre tubing (it's a very very tight fit), traced the diameter of the tubing on some cardboard, cut the cardboard, traced it on the truck and then started to cut. After, smooth out the sharp edges, put some edge dressing on (I used stuff from trailtoys) and boom.

OF NOTE: Put some aluminum sheeting (I used a disposable aluminum cake pan) behind the area that you want to cut so that you don't cut into the wiring harness.

Only thing I want to do now is to put some sealant around both ends to: 1. prevent any small amounts of dust from entering the system 2. to secure the hose to the filter and inlet.

@KevinK build is something of amazing. I use most of his advice when I'm looking to do something on mine.

It has a plastic drop-in bed liner as well and I think the bolts are covered?
But good catch and I'll keep an eye on it.
    Thanks for heads up

Got my rear passenger wheel bearing replaced. Because it's an 07 I guess it required an upgrade to the newer style of hub at the same time, as they had issues with the old hub/bearing combo (at least that's what the shop told me). $750 out the door, 50/50 between parts/labor. Happy to report that it solved the ticking/clicking/rock stuck in tire sound I've been dealing with for the past 10 months. After seeing that video of the pickup losing it's wheel and taking out the Kia Soul I knew it was time to get it done. They said the driver's side is making a bit of noise but it will wait for now. Additionally, it seemed to smooth out some of the shakes/shimmies I was getting at highway speeds.

Glad you got it fixed, but I am pretty sure that video was the result of either wheel spacers or improper lug nuts.

I thought I saw a video where some guy called out the wheel bearing as the point of failure, obviously I can't find that video now, but take a look at this screenshot... Looks to me like that shiny bit in the middle of the wheel way be the disc brake still attached.

IMG_4531.jpg Quick update……The truck bed has Line-X, a Bed Rug mat, plus the shell. I figured that’s close to 200lbs. I added 9lbs in the airbags. Sits dead level and rides nice and smooth. Next up is the trailer and SxS.
