I'll be following ya! Prospeed told me that "high flow" cats will not last long either according to their thoughts on "safe afr's" for a pulley'd Harrop.

I'm bummed because the smell is definitely noticeable but I gotta say the trd cat back is literally twice as loud as before and sounds good! My oem black tips have a discolored burnt look from the higher exhaust temps lol

putting headers and full exhaust on mine is also a deterent so my family wont keep suggesting the truck for long road trips haha. i can handle the loudness and all but not them.
do you go WOT a lot? shes going to be my daily driver and grocery getter. She's never gonna see the track ever. My only pulls will most likely be during freeway merges and wide open highway when no ones there. Im usually a speed limit type of guy and not aggressive. Im afraid the supercharger might change all that haha

I drive similar to you. I have a work truck and don't drive the Tundra often. My cats lasted ~800 miles. The only time I've ever really put stress on my truck is when I pull my TT but never even did that with the cats lol

Curious to see what you think about the stainless works headers and the loudness of them for a daily driver. The shop that did my tuning recommended the Stainless Works headers for any additional hp I was looking to gain (they stated ~50hp gain to the wheels with the headers and a slight tuning tweak). I just used a GMC Yukon for a little over a week that had a full exhaust including headers on it. While I thought it sounded great on cold start and light throttle driving around it was a bit too much for my taste on the freeway. I could definitely see myself not wanting to take any road trips if the Tundra were a similar tone/aggressiveness. I don't have any plans to do headers, but am very curious as to how it would sound. I'm running the TRD dual exhaust which would be paired with it if that made any difference.

Same, same. Power is nice when you need it but I don't beat on my truck all the time. Difficult to keep between the lines if you turn all the nannies off.

once the shop is done doing all my mods (i should get the truck early next week) remind me and i will post videos. outside/inside, windows down/up, cruising speed city/highway..etc. il even take a 1 hour cruise to the next town just to get a feel for the new power haha

this had probably been covered somewhere and im just too lazy to search..but is there a mod where all nannies are turned off as soon as you start your truck?

Yes but it hasn't been made in quite awhile. I think there were two different guys at different times that made them. Little electric gizmos that would mimic the signal of the buttons being pressed at start up. So same thing as manually doing it, just the process was automated every time the truck started so by the time your seat belt was on it was turned off. I don't think it's complicated to make, but someone with beyond basic electrical knowledge would have to make them again.

I recommend test driving in different conditions with nannies disabled first before committing to "full send". I'm not questioning your driving skills but wet conditions without 4WD can get dicey without trying.

The disabler is no different than pressing the button. Just think of it as the default position is everything off, and then you press the traction button once and everything is active again. Which personally I prefer since it's rare I want the safety nets active.

    Good find @reywcms !

Quick sound clip of what the exhaust sounds like. And i do not intend on keeping my scan gauge 3 there blocking my cluster. It was just where my old scan gauge was previously and it was much smaller.

It really isnt that loud while cruising unless your in boost and it doesn’t drone which is nice. I have not towed with it yet however and id assume it might be a bit annoying but i only tow a couple times a year.

I usually just disable the first layer of nannies.
Different experience on my end probably because of my shit tires. No nannies means tires break loose all to often without trying even with a muted pedal.
