Here's how I setup my last Tundra to sleep/store/cook/live in the bed. The biggest struggle I found was dust and water sealing for rainy midwest spring and fall camping. I ended up sealing the plastic bed rail caps to the bed with sikaflex and spending a lot of time chasing little gasket and silicone sealing leaks.

Looks good! Hate that you had to sell the rig, but seems like the long term plan will be more rewarding.

Don't worry. Old man tan still camps! Just looks a lot more simple.

First iteration a few years back with a shell and sleeping platform:

Second iteration w the AT Habitat:

I didnt building anything out w the Hab...one of the reasons I got rid of it was the construction and design of the camper itself. Nothing bad; just not what I wanted.

Current iteration with the Camp OVRLND pop-up. Just used it this weekend to crew a remote aid station on the Cocodona 250 foot race.

Fourth iteration is in the works w a NL fridge replacing the 20 year Engel, and the build being done out of extruded aluminum.
