Just recently got some new tires and wheels for my Tundra. it’s a 2wd but i live on a dirt road and highway tires don’t help out very well when it rains. I haven’t lifted it yet but i have bilstein 5100 ride height adjustable s and dobinson springs. Is there any other parts i should replace before lifting? I don’t want it to fall apart or anything by leaving out important or essential parts.

Lots of info on lifting in this thread

You failed to give us much info on whether your truck is running on all stock stuff, and how many miles.

It would also be helpful to know what your intent is - to level, to lift an a couple inches in front and in the rear? Do you want perfectly level, or a little rake?

You need to run the 5100s on the bottom notch with lifted springs, and depending what Dobinson's springs you bought, on an access cab with 2WD, unless you also purchased gear to lift the rear, your ass will likely going to be sagging below the front b/c of how much lift the popular Dobinsons springs provide. You're really limited with what spring you can pull off due to lack of drivetrain weight and cab weight. You can find pics of what's happened to other access cab 2WD members in the thread I linked. Most of the kits advertised online are geared towards fully loaded 4WD double cab trucks, so the specs don't apply to access cab to any extent.

Anyway, let us know... I can run specs on whatever springs you picked if you just give the model#.
