And calling someone with a different area code cost a lot of money.

...and... I can't remember my son's phone number even though I call him every week. I touch the numbers that correspond to the first three letters of his name, the contact pops up, and I hit the green phone icon. Who needs to remember a number? But I can remember my first grade friend's phone number (at least the one he had in first grade), and I haven't called him in 40 years.

Yep. I can remediate about a half-dozen numbers from my childhood. Including Domino’s Pizza

Those useless "Things" collected into a Large bourbon or Wine bottles help pay for insurance premiums or weekend get-aways.... :p

Living the LIFE I have when folks would wait in "Lines" for 2-5 dollars of gas and pay me with rolled pennies & nickels to survive makes you quickly

appreciate every coin minted in the USA....

No slight too be given BUT "Touching" my phone against a steel box or plate just seems like "You're asking for trouble..." and here in Florida there

are still restaurants & smaller stores where CASH is the only thing used....

I do remember that. I actually used to walk around with a little plastic box clipped on my pants or pocket that would beep. It wouldn't show me a message, just a phone number, then I'd have to find one of those phones, put coins in it, and call the number that my little plastic box showed me when it beeped.

Yes, and all phones were wired to the wall, and some had little spinny dials that you used to enter the number. Sometimes, you had to get the other "parties" on the line to relinquish the line so you could make a call, and since each "party" had their own distinctive ring you'd know who was receiving a call and you could listen in to see what was going on.

Pearl Organic Green. It's quite a bit lighter than AG. Lots of black, too.

That's low priority. Crash bars, rear shock protector, barkbusters, dash screen protector, and new pegs come first.

Though a buddy gave me my first mod! :yay:

For the record, migraines suck. Also, headaches that are on the verge and make you sit doing nothing in anticipation of a migraine also suck.

Sean, how are you holding up? I know you've had a roller-coaster for the last month here. I know the family is okay because you're the rock for them, but rocks need care too.

Thanks for asking. They seem to be doing better and are doing well. I need to put her dog collar somewhere as we see it everytime we come in from the garage. Too sad to look at it.
I’m doing alright. I kept myself distracted all weekend by working and then going out with the wife all day yesterday

You see, kids; waaaay back before you were born, these two brothers, Bobby and J.R. were at each other's throats for pert near 14 seasons. It was a vicious back and forth that whole time, with one getting the upper hand, then the other. Sometimes even the womerns went at it, pullin hair and all that. In the end, though, they just sold a bunch of bumper stickers and turned the house into a conference venue. It was all for nothing, like most wars.
