I tried going with the converse but being a size 13 my feet for some reason looked way too long like a clown. Never again.

Size 12.5 and flat footed - I can never get Chucks to fit or feel right. But Vans do

I just did 3 drain and fills this winter around 50k miles, a couple weeks apart for each d&f.
I drained out 3-3.5 quarts each time, filled it with 4 and let the overfill dribble out when the trans hit 100°.
I think the spec to pull the check plug is 99-110°?

Don't forget to pin the transmission t-stat on the passenger side, there's a couple threads out there on the drain&fill.

At the dealer today and they had a 2023 TRD Pro Tacoma and TRD Pro Tundra open. Sat in the back of the crewmax Tundra and man those are smaller than the Gen 2 backseats. I couldn’t sit in any position without tilting my head haha (6’3). I think it’s a combo of higher seats and the large moonroof back there. Front seat is fine though. Tacoma feels like my 4R but a little smaller in the front seat, definitely want a manual Taco or FJ one day. What was interesting is they had prices for center caps, the 6 spoke center caps look super close in size to the Gen2 Tundra size in some cases.2576C77A-7BFC-4917-A6F7-7130B534E928.jpgA435B5AE-C437-4861-9947-FA1117A44DDF.jpg1C7B3501-5F3C-4041-A08A-D2F550974070.jpg

Gents, I ended up with an extra Bestop TrekStep last year through a warranty replacement. I’m a big fan of mine, great for getting in and out of the bed. This has been sitting in my garage and needs to go to a good local Tundra that will put it to good use. Brand new in box, first $150 takes it ($275 new). Located in Renton Highlands, WA. PM me.

Anyone in the market for a taco? My father in law is about to list his. It’s a 2021 TRD Pro in LR. He babied this thing like crazy and only kept it in the garage (I tried to get him to drive it more), it’s only got 9500 miles.

I’m headed down to Vancouver in early June. Might be able to mule them down. “Might” cuz my time is very limited that weekend and we’ll need to coordinate the handoff.

Has anyone setup a dual battery to run their fog lights and other aux lights? Thinking of putting an 100ah LiFePo4 under back seat. Mainly to run my fogs ditch lights then add some 12v and 120v plugs to bed. Looks pretty straight forward but any input would be appreciated.

We appreciate it but I’m gonna meet up half way on May 6th. If it was sooner I’d be all over it.

After 10 days at the dealer the Tree is back. All went smooth, the only extras they are going to replace are a broken third row cup holder flap and the steering wheel they cut like in 30 spots ;) Probably a sunroof assembly fell onto it. The rest of the interior is only moderately scratched and dirty. But it is highly scratchable anyways and we have 3 kids, so who cares? Fix the cup holder and replace the steering wheel.

This is why I do everything myself. I would do the sunroof, too, if only the part was a couple of hundreds... If I break something, it's only me to blame it for.

Guys, if any of you are over the age of 50, I implore you to get the Shingles shot that is available to you. I’m in my late 30’s and am on day 6 of battling a case of Ophthalmic Shingles (face and eye). It has also managed to attack my Trigeminal Nerve. The docs started me on anti-virals and nerve pain meds 3 days ago.

The pain is unimaginable. Ranges from weed burner to multiple electric shocks to the face, to a battle with fire ants, 10 defenseless rounds against Mike Tyson etc. etc.

Man so sorry! I did one shot (out of two) and it knock both my wife and me down for days. We are over 50. This was 2019. Never been so sick or had a reaction to something that bad before. Never did the second as I am a big whimp. I better toughen up and get the shots as I have had friends go through shingles and they all said it is the worst. Again so sorry you are going through this.

Too lazy to go back and read all the posts…. Finally dropped the truck for repair today and I learned since I had it inspected that another one came in with same issue, and there was a backorder on replacement parts. It is being repaired today and I got out to see it… but the tech is out and I didn’t get a good take on the real issue. More to come of this adventure.

It is so bad it is comical…

Headliner not installed correctly. Broke my Meso, dirty as hell (said they would detail it but didn’t) the door seals were not installed properly.

I’ll give them a chance to make good before I flame them. But geez guys, do it right the first time.

I tried but it was actually after the department was closed. So I had another service advisor take pics and send them to the manager to call me tomorrow.

I am going to take it to an auto body shop at lunch and have them quote installing a new one and billing Toyota.

I am shocked they would release a vehicle like this and not expect problems.
