2017 supercharged tundra shuts off when easing on the accelerator. But starts right back up. Any advice?

2017 supercharged here, but never ran into or heard of that problem before. When was the supercharger installed? Why do you think that is the culprit?

    Installed about 2 months ago.
I forgot to mention that it stalled 3 times in a row and then it ran fine.

Could be trash in the fuel line/pickup...no fuel filter on these trucks if you can believe that one...

Yeah, sounds like a possible fuel issue to me. Any check engine light or codes? Flex Fuel?

no codes at all? very strange. Something is hitting a power circuit.

I've seen this in other vehicles that had worn out ignition switches. (I've also seen it in a 1000 rwhp mustang that had ignition turn off from inertia).

what are driving conditions when it shuts off? low vehicle speed, high vehicle speed?

I would think outside of the box on this one:

    Ground wires
    Battery connections
    Battery health
    Alternator wiring
    PCM fuse, relay
    Fuel pump fuse, relay
    Ignition switch
Ignition fuse, relay (not sure if Tundra has a circuit like this)

Basically check for things that are in circuits that can shutdown the truck like the key was cycled.

Shuts off around 1800rpms only when driving.

Is your truck flex fuel? Did you upgrade the pump? My fuel pump would give me fits at 1800-2200rpm. It would stutter and not want to pick up speed. I'm sure if I was supercharged it would have stalled from lack of fuel. I replaced my pump with an aeromotive pump and kit from URD.

No magnusson said i didn't need to replace pump.
It ran great for a around 2k miles. But if it is pump i will definitely upgrade.

Check wiring and connection to crank sensor ... but this would trip a code.

Do you have a video of this happening? I agree that this would absolutely cause a code, whether historical or not, if it's an engine stall event.

When you say it shuts off, are you saying the engine dies, or that the truck loses power completely as if the ignition was turned to "off"?

I’m gonna jump on this too. I’m having the exact same problem. Just installed supercharger 2016 flex fuel tundra. It drove for about 2k as well with no issues. At 1500 rpm it will shut off the engine. Dash will stay on. But if I turn the key off and back on it will stay running but once I hit 1500 rpm it will do the same thing. If I do that process about 6-8 times by the 8th time it will stay running and get passed the 1500 rpm. I’m thinking it’s something to do with the fuel pressure switch valve. I can get a constant code of p-109c. Next move is changing the fuel system with Prospeed fuel system. At least I know I’m not the only one dealing with this.
