This Toyota Dealer is F*#%ing Crazy!

This dealer doesn't deserve to be in business.

 

Let's not forget to add in the 8k sales tax

 

The dealer's getting free advertising and probably drawing a crowd to see if this is real. A lot of the lookers will see something they like at a decent price and sales will be made. If it hurts business it'll disappear quickly. If it's still there, it's boosting sales on some level.

 

I just hate price gouging.

This jerk has a near monopoly. People had no choice but to pay his price at first. That's price gouging. There are plenty of Toyota dealers out there. In the case of the overpriced truck, it was either wise marketing or wishful thinking. If I put a $100,000 price on my truck and someone agrees, that's just free enterprise. That, and wishful thinking on my part.

The funny (not so funny) thing is they aren't upmarking the fact that its a Pro. Its all the added shit that makes the Pro less valuable. Maybe someone soo desperate to be known will buy it

I want to know what rims they are and looks them up, then call and ask why 10k when they're like $1600 and see what they say.. well, we'll need to mount and balance them sir

 

Handling fees are steep these days lol. Only thing they are missing from the price tag is a daily storage fee for it to sit on their lot till the new owner buys it. Could push it over 100k lol

 

Wonder if they require a deposit to test drive it too.. like higher end car dealers

 

I'm thinking maybe they don't want to sell it for some reason. Maybe the dealer just wants it to show on the lot for a while, get traffic in.
A few years back I was at a Chevy dealership. They had a pretty sick Corvette on the floor. I don't remember how much, but the price was something stupid. One of the service guys told me the owner didn't want to sell it, he just wanted it as a showpiece for a while. They eventually set the price right when they decided to move it.

 

Actually, 1 decimal pt does make the prices about right for everything except for the amp steps.
So, they are charging about 10x the value for everything else!

 

I sorted by price by highest first. lol it is sitting at the lowest cost trucks.

She didn't have any info so I hung up then she txt me with the same shit that's in the window formrims ans tires ans all, I told her what's the brand tire, what's the type of fuel wheel, she just gave all the basic info as when I asked for ,ore details she never responded.. I wrote back for 100k you should have a lot more detail since you're over charging 40k for all that

 

After the phone call she txt me and I told here that, Never got a response after that

 

Everything is marked up insanely, but this is what jumped out at me when I looked at their price sheet.

 

Those fuel assault wheels ans nitto tires don't cost more than 4K total and they're saying 22k smh over 400% mark up..

 

My thoughts exactly. price gouging...what goes around comes around.
Hopefully they will totally loose customers when they see the cagey business
they are running. Not doing Toyota Corporate any favors that is for sure.
