I just screwed mine to the firewall on the driver side inboard of the brake booster. I didn't want a long vacuum/boost run, then the wiring under the booster and through the firewall along with all the other detritus that needs to go from the engine to the interior. I think that as long as you don't fix it to the exhaust manifold or coil pack, it'll be okay.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

My blower has a port pretty much right there at the driver-rear corner.

I thought that was for the boost gauge. Cool!

Both occur there for your boost/vacuum gauge. Are you looking for for a vacuum source for something other than your gauge?

Right now I'm trying to finish the Innovate PSB-1 install. I'll use that port, thanks!

I mean trying to be ready to install it when I get my truck back tonight :p

Criusing has been 13.5-14.5. The lowest I have seen is 9.8 for an instant at wot. If I get the pro deal can I get the Innovate info into the HP Tune reading?

You don't even need anything else, @ZPhilip figured out how to get HPT to read from the Innovate directly. Though you'd have to talk to him about how to do it.

Looks like you'll need to connect the Yellow wire to the blue or red wire on the prolink, then add the external input in the software. Also, make sure the ProLink is grounded as well.

    From Innovate Manual:
Optionally, the YELLOW analog output can be connected to the analog input of other devices such as data loggers or standalone ECUs. If this wire is not being used isolate and tape it out of the way. The default analog output configuration is 0V = 7.35 AFR and 5V = 22.39 AFR.

    From HP Tuners forums:
Under Channel Selector > External Inputs
    you'll see MVPI Pro, MVPI2
MVPI2 Pro only has two analog inputs with the pro link. MVPI pro has four listed.
    Select MVPI2 > Pro Link
if MVPI2 Pro link isn't visible try resynching your interface under Help section in vcm scanner. Afterwards make sure you are licensed with the Pro Feature Set in hptuners.com > My Account > My Devices

That's pretty cool, so he added the gauge output as a serial input to his computer via usb adapter, and was able to see it in the software from there. Cheaper than the prolink for sure, and good to know.

Correct, I did successfully get the PSB-1 to show up in the channel list and record the AFR in data logs. Without using the ProLink or any other hardware.

Once I got a new serial to USB adapter (had an old adapter that was being problematic), I added the external serial input and got it to connect with some trial and error. The next issue was getting it to display in AFR units with 14.7 stoich. I dug deep on HPT’s tuning forum and came up with the formula below to get the units correct. Hope this helps.

So I need to connect the rs232's wites to the PSB-1 out?

Guess a positive of being in IT since 1980 (went to Wang school, which was a waste of $ & time) is having pretty much every possible cable & connector.

Is this all I need to connect?

That is what I connected. The supplied serial Innovate cable and bought a USB adapter. I don’t know what rs232 wires are. I’m just a half assed driveway tinkerer.

The connector the USB cable is going to is called rs232, it's ancient tech.

I searched & don't see how to add the new scan parameter.

Found this digging into it, what do I select?

    add channel.jpg

Hopefully I'm in the right place, how do I get the transform right?

    Need some help troubleshooting.

OTT is seeing tiny fuel corrections all over the place, over and under. They aren't sure what's causing that. When I get back home, I'll swap back from the AEM FPR to the Evil Energy FPR and see if that does anything. What else should I be checking? He said at 5k RPM on my last run, I was only at 38% duty cycle on the 750cc injectors. Asked me to turn down the FPR from 60 to 45psi to see if that helps. But he thinks airflow or fueling related.

I'm also going to order the SABM parts today for the maggy intake

I’m just here to speculate with no experience, but that could make sense that it’s just too much fuel. When using large injectors you’re utilizing a much smaller range of the injectors capabilities I could see it being more difficult to fine tune (worse resolution) and cause erratic fueling. If those injectors are rated at 750cc at 43.5psi, they will flow 880cc at 60psi.
