I’d just assume you’d have to Macgyver something up.

I know you can get the Ironman tent on sale for as low as 900 plus ship and you’d have their support. But that’s just about 20% difference which is no small amount. I’m just wondering if these tents are like neoprene for wetsuits. Comes out of two main factories for 99% of products on the market, just depends on what features the vendor wants to put where and how much they’re willing to spend.

How much does it rain in the PNW?

Took me two years to hit the low windshield washer fluid warning on my truck.

    LMFAO

I religiously fill every time I change oil, and I don't think I've gone through a gallon in 48k miles.

I put the rain x additive in the washer fluid and use it to recoat the windshield, end up going through it a few times a year. Works pretty well to avoid hyper wiper usage like most people in this area haha.

Hey guys, hoping someone might know the answer to this one. Was hoping to replace the hose on my Outland firebowl to connect directly to my RV. Bought a hose that I thought was the right one but the quick connect on the end is different from the one from my RV outside stove (see picture, stone on left, new hose on right). Anyone know if there is an adapter I can buy to solve?

    1 or 2... I lost count
I have never seen a hose like the one on the left. The one on the right is the standard 1/4" quick-connect barb that I have seen on basically all propane accessories. I'm going to venture a guess here so feel free to tell me I'm wrong, the "exterior" stove stove is one that has a compartment that you open and slide out on a shelf but is still kinda inside the trailer so has that weird quick connect that is specific to that stove or trailer. There should be a totally exterior hookup that you can access from outside the trailer (When my parents were trailer shopping, 90% of the time it was behind the trailer axles on the camp/door side of the trailer). If you look around underneath the trailer it should look something like this
    [IMG]
that is what you can insert that 1/4" barb into... If that is not the case on your trailer it is something I have not ever encountered.

Yes, correct it is a slide out stove for the outside kitchen. Unfortunately this is the only point of connection for propane underneath the trailer. I will have to do some more search for possible adapters.

Funny - I was gonna say I've never seen the one on the right before. But I don't have any RV or trailer stuff.
The one on the left is a standard 3/8" natural gas/propane quick connect. The 3/8" is gonna have more throughput than the 1/4" fitting...so depending on what you are actually trying to run off it you may end up with reduced output if your RV has the 1/4" quick connect and the accessory has a 3/8" hose connection. If that's not the case (or you're not worried about the reduced gas flow), then you can thread the 3/8 connector off the end of that hose and get whatever BRASS fittings you need to adapt it to a 1/4 quick connect like this
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075WDPVPR

Hell - this kit might have all the parts you need (depends on if that 3/8 connector is NPT or Flare fitting on the threaded end).

I only recognized it because I have one on my house for back when I had a gas grill… this is the female side of the 3/8 quick connect

I vote to add a tee under the trailer and add the second fitting as pictured… then end up with two fittings under the trailer, similar to the three in one of the previous pictures.

Also, just my opinion but I wouldn’t buy a gas fitting from Amazon, not unless it is Listed.

You make a good point there. It is useful for at least figuring out what the hell you’re looking for, but then go to the local specialty plumbing store or propane supplier for the good stuff

I think this might be the route to go. Then I would not worry about reduced flow to the stove or any issues like that.

I’m using multiple quick disconnects for the gas hook ups to my forges and tanks with no problems. All from Amazon. Very easy to test for leaks with a little soap/water solution.
