    Hey guys!

New poster here, and I appreciate any and all feedback (not even sure if this is the right thread to be posting this query).

I have a 2019 TRD Sport Tundra that I’m looking to install a whole new suspension and wheels. I have explored OME, Icon Stage 5 or 7, Fox, and King. For wheels, I’m split between using the factory size 18” (Method MR305NV or 302 Double Standards) or going down to 17’s (also Methods), with probably 34” Falkens or KO2’s. I’m trying to avoid BMC or cutting of any kind, which is why I’m not really leaning into 35’s. My goal is to get 2-3 more inches of clearance (this vehicle is my daily driver, but I want it to go wherever I need it to for hunting/extracurricular activities) but am not opposed to more. OME and Icon offer entire kits, which seems easier than customizing a package, but I have no experience with either. I wouldn’t mind parting everything out as long as it won’t break the bank.

Any recommendations or knowledge would be greatly appreciated gents!

    Thanks!

    Alot of them
Toytec has some good options as well. Stay away from the KO2's though. They are stone magnets and often have balancing issues. A common size tire in a 34" is the 295/70/18. Many of us run the 285/70 as it is within 3/8 of an inch in size and 10 lbs per tire lighter.

Any time you run a tire with open tread on rocks it will pick them up. I run KO2s because I need a tough tire on the ranch roads I hunt. In 10 years I have never had a tire issue. As far as balancing goes whenever you are looking at running heavy tires you might have some balance issues. Maybe I am just lucky but over 3 sets of KO2s I have never had a balance problem.

Link below is where all these threads are discussed. Also, look at the top sticky'd thread. Talks 6112 set up with wheels and tires. Should be lots of good ideas there since the 6112 bilstein setup I think maxes out at 3 inches. See my sig for my details.

I run K02s. Not great in rain. OP it's true about rocks. Depending on your offset, make sure you run a wider mudflap. That should help mitigate the rock issue.

I had 2 sets of KO2’s on my Tacoma and never had issues either. But maybe it’s different for a heavier truck.

Thanks for the heads up! They’re probably my last choice even though I’ve had them before. Not the first time I’ve heard people have had issues with them. I’ve just been lucky
