How well did the new black around the radio match the horizontal pieces you replaced with the wood grain? Getting close to doing mine

Looks good! On the steering wheel cover I used the Eiseng.

Truth be told I figured I would screw up one and have to do it again so I chose based on $. Turns out it's great Install was pretty easy, just tedious.
    Couple of things:
I used the black thread option, it hides imperfections and let's you go back and add an extra stitch withoit being obvious.
I should have removed the wheel, it would have been worth the effort
I should have taken pics along the way so I could post them when giving advice. :(

Looks to me like the SR center stack is a flatter black, than the slightly shinier grey horizontal pieces. Toyota really failed on interior color continuity in these trucks. The only thing they got consistent is the silver everyone is trying to get rid of. I'm torn between wrapping and painting. I feel like the wrap will look better initially, but may not hold up over time.

Finally got around to replacing the antenna mount/base that was a car wash victim.
Took the wheel well approach and removed the plastic grommets/clips/retainers to reach the actual antenna from underneath. Removed what was left of rubber base and replaced with new one.
I chose to just replace the grommets since it was going to be a pain in the ass to salvage them. The grommets can be found for pretty cheap from Toyota or Amazon. Fitment was perfect and got the FM/AM signal back. Which is rarely used, but the truck just wasn’t looking right…..

Then I walked around and glanced again at the recently added Icon 2.5 Rear Shocks, compliments of Hotshot Offroad.

Then walked around some more and noticed grease coming from the passenger ball joint of the upper control arm……
    Should I be concerned???
    FEEDBACK/Ideas on UCAs is welcomed.

A lot of guys recommend greasing that area once a month or with every oil change at least. Not greasing it can lead to the bearing or something inside failing. If no one here is able to diagnose it quickly, I’d take it in and see if it needs to be replaced before the whole joint does

Considering I get 13.7 hand calculated, I’d say so.

I just got back from a weeks road trip. We got 15.2 hand calculated with a combination of freeway (50%), country roads (40%) and surface streets (10%)

I had a trip last weekend to MT (500 miles) that was 15.1 going there, but 11.2 coming home. Brutal head winds the whole way home.

The black pieces around the radio are flat matte black and the trim pieces are a shinier shade of black that doesn't really match which is why I went with the wood grain look.

Where was it leaking? I had a toilet full valve leak on mine last month. I put in a shutoff valve after I fixed it.

Connection to the main sink taps, connection to the toilet, connection to the taps at the outside kitchen. I had a water pressure pressure valve that failed and I think blew the seals at these points. I had a go at fixing them myself, but my old body doesn't contort like it used to.

Where's the shutoff valve get installed?

Yeah RV plumbing is very fragile. They use a flexible PVC type of line called PEC. Lowes carries it. You can install shutoff valves in any supply line. The one that I used is a Sharkbite type of connection. I put one in the toilet supply line.
