Tailgate and bumper for 2000 ext. cab

Hello. I’m new here. I have a 2000 ext cab and I need to replace the tailgate and bumper assemblies. When talking to a number of part finding businesses, I am getting conflicting info on whether or not 2001-2006 parts will fit. What’s the word?

 

You'll need to provide a tad more info and clarify the cab type.
If were to look on Toyota sites, Trim type is a requisite....Base, Limited or SR5. If SR5, we'd need to know a V6 or V8....etc

You might consider going to below Toyota parts, input your VIN # and it will help you with finding parts better. Once done, you can type “Bumper” and it will take you to that section applicable to your Type Tundra

Good suggestions - thanks. I believe it is an SR5 and it does have the V8. Trim type - not sure, but the bumper is chrome with a plastic cover just around the hitch area. But as you say, the vin should help...
